This shoe gets 5 stars for comfort but only 3 stars for durability. Hence 4 stars. My husband works 60 hours a week in a warehouse & walks constantly & fixes machines all day. The shoes are comfortable, but seem only last 9 months to a year. They wear out in the toes first most of the time since he's fixing some of the machines while on his knees with the toe portion facing the concrete floor. He is hard on his work shoes. He enjoys the shoes much better than the heavy clunky steel toe work boots that he wore for years even though they lasted longer. Of course most of them were also over $100 a pair. Bottom line is that he still recommends these work shoes overall.

These are 'relaxed fit' shoes. They fit a little loose, which I like. I can slip them on and off with ease, without un-tying them. If you get your foot caught in a tight space wearing these this loose, they will come off. If that is something you don't like, order a 1/2 size smaller. This is my 4th pair of Skecher safety shoes. This last time, I purchased the exact same model and size as the pair before. Very comfortable for wearing around work all day. I even wear them on the weekends.

I work in a warehouse environment that requires steel toe protection. I purchased these shoes because it looked comfortable. The shoes are comfortable, especially with the memory foam support inside. Bought these for my son with a wide foot. He was thrilled with them and I can see why. They are awesome shoes. We got the 11 wide, and all black with steel toes. Great price and the quality was super. He put them on and did not take them off... In fact, he left in them and kept commenting on how great they feel. Good toe box room, great comfort. He was especially impressed with how stable the shoes are, the sides held well, and he said he felt very comfortable and secure in them. They did make him taller, but I think that was a plus. Price was great too. They really looked fantastic. Better looking than others I've seen him in. In fact, way above the rest.
Had to buy slick resistant steal toes for work.Compared to the very expensive shoes from the shoe truck that goes to my job these are amazing for half or a 3rd of the price.You'll never find any true nonstick but these are close and they are very comfortable til the insole finally stay flat.Only real issue is the issue with most work shoes....the shape of the toes. After working 50 to 120hrs a week for many many years I developed a bunion which made walking slightly painful. Eventually had to get surgery to correct it. Wish these work shoes were designed to accommodate the foot's shape and not change it's shape.Until I can afford the proper ones and have a job that don't require steel toes I'll still be buying these.
I require special heat moldable Sole insoles for more comfort with my super flat feet. Unfortunately, Sketcher glued in the memory foam inserts. I eventually got them out but was a pain. Otherwise, seems to be a great shoe for protection against smashed toes or other impact and electric hazards. They are extremely light in weight compared to all of my previous heavy Vibram soled all leather shoes. Difficult to tell what part of this Sketcher shoe is actually leather. Seems mostly man made. We'll see how long they last compared to those and I'll update my review later. But so far, so good.
Very comfortable... however, the insert soles started separating from the toe area on both shoes. Just bought these 6 weeks ago and finally figured out why I had holes in both socks on the bottom near big toe area. Inserts separating, large staple rips holes in socks. It only took me 12 pairs of socks to figure it out! Lol
My husband took these to work today (mechanic) and said they were not slip/oil resistant. I looked at the details on the show description because I was sure I checked that before purchase. And it says it is oil and slip resistant. He almost fell several times wearing these. Disappointed.
I got these shoes for my husband for his work. I actually helped pick it out for him since he didn’t know what to get. These shoes are required for his job. He finds it’ very comfortable and the price is so much better than what we have seen at other stores. He is very happy with this pair and really like the color as it’s not easy to see the dirt.
I have only used these shoes for work for about 5 months. The cushion sole on the right blew out after about a month. And the other side blew out a few months later. I did love that they had great cushion. And after about 3 months, the sole started coming apart from the toe part back. I superglued them to get a few more weeks out of them. Now they are dangerous to wear. I really loved the shoes at first but they fell apart too fast.
