This cleanser is a staple in my routine. I have oily combination skin and any time I use another cleanser I break out. This cleaner exfoliates, cleans, and leaves my skin feeling soft after. It’s a great cleaner and remember a little goes a long way. The price is dear but I find it is worth it. To give you an idea I wash my face two times a day and this large bottle last around 3 months. I purchased Skinceuticals gel as a ‘last chance’ to treat my cystic acne that returned after 6 months of being clear after antibiotics. I used some other products of this brand before and they worked very good for me (redness reducing serum). After three weeks of using it daily, I don’t have any cysts/breakouts and my skin is slowly starting to heal.First few days I experienced small discomfort because it seems to be a little drying, but I just make sure to moisturise more and the problem is gone.100% recommended!
FANTASTIC CLEANSER, WELL WORTH THE PRICE. I'm 46 yrs old & have Polycystic ovaries & therefore acne has plagued me for my whole life, this cleanser has helped tremendously to reduce the hormonal bumps on my neck & jawline, a little goes a long way. Beware though, can't be used on eyes as it has some sort of great minty sensation which leaves skin soft, but not good on eyes. So you'll need to buy some eye make up remover pads if you wear mascara. Great company too 5*
I love this cleansing gel, it seems to be clearing up my adult acne really well. I don’t usually suffer from bad skin but for some reason I woke up to some seriously bad skin recently. Maybe it’s me but it seems to be toning my skin too as well as clearing things up, I will definitely repurchase. I’m not a fan of the packaging, the gel is quite runny so it pours out and you end up using way too much product, it would have been so much better in a pump. All in all a lovely gel that definitely delivers but awful packaging.
Absolutely fab product, leaves your skin feeling soft yet clean. Only downside is the menthol content, as this isn't great on your eyes! I previously used 'Simply Clean' facial wash from Skinceuticals which has transformed my blemish prone older skin, but it's very slightly drying which I would combat with moisturiser, but it did remove all makeup on eyes too. A pump dispenser bottle would be better too. Still, FAB PRODUCT IF YOU DONT USE ON EYES
Brilliant cleanser. My only gripe is that the packaging is poor and I’m v sure that Skinceuticals know this! However, this does not put me off from purchasing. Just be sure to decant into smaller bottles when travelling!
Ideal for oily, thicker skin with adult acne probkems. Using as part of regime in line with Blemish and Age serum and tonersutiob. The gel leaves skin with slightly cooling sensation thanks to the small amount of menthol. My skin usually react badly to menthol ingredients in skin care but not with this face wash. The overall feeling is super clean, supple skin. Very small amount needed. The dispenser bottle design would be easier to use though rather than a tube. Recommended.
