My cat adjusted immediately and while for a few min he tried to pick at them, he totally ignores them now. While trying to introduce a new cat into an established 3 cat home, one of the established cats absolutely hated the new cat, to the point of cornering him and attacking him with her claws. Well my neighbor, another cat lover told me about the soft claws so it turned out to be a real lifesaver, she can no longer scratch the new cat or the furniture or do damage to anything. But she can still do everything else she’s always been able to do. He claws are now soft but still retract and do not affect her quality of life one little bit. I’m so grateful for this perfect solution to a stressful problem. Problem solved, no more separating cat, no more stress! Great product and I highly recommend it!

My kitty was clawing my new furniture!! He will not use a scratching post and was causing some serious damage. My daughter, who is a veterinarian told me about these and even helped me put them on. They are still on almost 2 weeks later, don’t seem to bother him at all! I got the sparkly gold, they look cute but more importantly they work! Just put them on the front paws, none needed on back limbs.

We have a total of 18 scratching posts in our home, all of various textures and sizes that my cat loves, BUT she still scratches on the couch when we aren't looking, I promise you she has plenty of puzzle toys and stimulation as well. I've had two bad experiences with this item. The caps fit over the cats claws to prevent her from scratching my woodwork. My Vet comes to my house and both times the glue was dried out and the product could not be used. I'm very disappointed in this product and I've incurred additional Vet costs plus the cost to fix my walls.
These work fantastic once you get them glued on, but the glue is a disaster! I can't squeeze any glue out with my hands. I had to get a pair of pliers and squeeze glue out of the tubes to get some into the caps. Of course, smashing brittle plastic with pliers causes it to break so the applicator broke and super glue went all over the place. Improve the glue applicators (you need to make these good enough that we can apply glue and put a lid back on so it can be reused, and still make it so you can squeeze the glue out of the bottle by hand). If the glue situation was better, I would use these on my 9 cats for the rest of their lives! They're amazing.
