I usually don’t like these types of sweeteners. However, this one was a little different. The packets were small, so I used 1-3 to sweeten my tea. I like that whether I used 1 or 3 packs, it did not taste too sweet; it was just right. The sugar particles are very fine and it dissolved completely in hot water. Also, it did not leave any residue at the bottom of the cup. I like that the Splenda Stevia Sweetener was mild, not strong and did not leave a funny aftertaste.

Replying to 1Girlee who prefers GreatValue Stevia. That has Dextrose which is sugar and Maltodextrine which acts like sugar in the body and is not recommended for diabetics (or dieters) "Maltodextrin has a high glycemic index value of 185–105," but labeling rules allow them to claim "0 carbs". Most powdered sweeteners have it. This does not, nor Pyure which is a little bit cheaper.

Stevia zero calorie sweetener by Splenda is a great alternative for sugar. I'm at an age where I need to cut back on my sugar intake. Stevia helps as it has no calories, has no after, and I use less sweetener. The taste is just like sugar, and works in everything just like sugar. I use one pack to a cup of tea, my Chai tea in the photo. There's no artificial ingredients with no sodium either. I've also used it in my baking for brownies and Rugelach. It's non gmo. People were surprised at how great my baked goods tasted without the load of sugar. This box has 40 packets, which should last me for a while. I definitely would recommend for diabetics and people who want to start and keep a healthier diet.

My latest product to review is the SPLENDA Stevia Sweetener Packets - 40 ct. This product arrived at a good time for me. I was recently diagnosed with having Type II Diabetes. I enjoy having a cup or two of coffee in the morning with 2 teaspoons of sugar. Now I don't have to give up drinking my coffee in the mornings. Stevia is the best tasting artificial sugar on the market. It is 100% natural and contains no sodium or fats. The individual packets are so convenient to take along with you to work or wherever. Stevia taste more like natural sugar without the unpleasant aftertaste of other artificial sweeteners.
