4 Wood is where it's at

If you are looking for a Fairway Finder this might just be what the doctor ordered. I have always struggled to elevate a traditional 3 wood. After trying out both the 3 wood and the 16.5° HL (high launch) 4 wood, I that the 4 wood definitely allowed me to elevate my shots off the deck a lot easier. Off the tee, I found the loss of distance to be relatively negligible. This club does not have an adjustable weight or and adjustable adaptor, but it really didn't matter because the performance was astounding. Dispersion was excellent from side to side, and unlike my old Epic Flash 3 wood, had a very consistent dispersion from front to back.4 wood is not something I ever thought I would use but from a versatility standpoint it makes perfect sense.

Like the title states, this club is an absolute game changer. I’ve taken it out for two rounds and truly impressed with its performance. In the standard settings, I was able to drive the ball a total of 275 off the tee with ease. I love the look of the club at address as the contrast of paint finishes make it easy to align. The immediate feedback from the face provides me with confidence. I’ve yet to set it in its lowest settings but I’d imagine the yardage that it would produce. My 3W is paired with the Mitsubishi Diamana+ 60. I’d highly recommend this club to anyone looking for versatility and a club you can depend on to find the fairway.

Best 3 Wood Ever!

I have owned several 3 woods over the past 40 years. From persimmon to steel, Ti, composite, etc. Several more brands with various shafts and technology. This is the first adjustable 3 wood I have owned and this is by far the best I have ever hit. I was amazed from the first shot on the range to my last tee shot with it on its maiden round. I used this 3 wood more often than I did my driver that round as the shots were just pure off of this club. I would highly recommend this club to anyone who is looking to add a 3 wood to their bag.

Best Fairway Wood I’ve Ever Owned
23 May 2023

Best fairway wood I’ve ever owned!!! The weight, performance, and great sound instill confidence just addressing the ball. It launches fairly high for a low spin head, but that is easily controlled with the adjustability of the sliding 50 gram weight. As a long time golf junkie and certified club fitter, I highly recommend the TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus fairway wood. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's good if you like high straight shots
21 May 2023

When the fitter let me try the Stealth 2 HD model (3 wood), I instantly knew something was up after first shot. Compared to Stealth 2 (3 wood) I was hitting just prior, the HD model was far exceeding my expectations off the tee and floor. Even my poor strikes with HD, where going high and straight. My best HD fairway wood shots were going further than my driver fitting worst shots on the very same day. After a week of cooling off from my fitting, I couldn't play a round without thinking about this fairway wood and ditching my old 3 wood. Glad I pulled the trigger since I have been able to shave 2 strokes off my handicap and that's proof enough. The Stealth 2 HD fairway really is that good no matter your handicap. Just because spin maybe a little higher doesn't mean ... MoreWhen the fitter let me try the Stealth 2 HD model (3 wood), I instantly knew something was up after first shot. Just because spin maybe a little higher doesn't mean you shouldn't give this club a try, if you have a tendency to struggle with fairway woods at any point during rounds. A big boost of confidence sitting behind the ball with its large footprint and thin profile doesn't hurt us handicap golfers.

Just what I needed
12 May 2023

I am starting to have a problem hitting my 4 and 5 irons consistently. While playing with a friend, he suggested I try his Stealth 2 7 wood. I hit it about 235 over the green with a pretty effortless, smooth swing. I tried it on a few more holes and after the round, ordered my own club. It arrived about a week later. I was really excited to try my “own” club but was nervous because I had really good results with my friends club. I hit a few balls on the range and it felt really good. But the true test would be on the course. On a long par 5 I hit a good drive and was set up to try my new 7 wood. I pulled it out and hit it about 230 yards just short of the green. There was no one behind us so I pulled out another ball and hit it within 10 feet of the other ball. I ... MoreI am starting to have a problem hitting my 4 and 5 irons consistently. I pulled out a 3rd ball and was about 5 yards farther but all three shots were within a 10 yard radius. I have about 4 more shots throughout the round and all were great. I took my 4 and 5 iron out of the bag and no longer worry trying to hit those consistently. This new club is much more forgiving and I still get distance, carry, loft with an easy, smooth swing.

Much More Flexible than Stealth Plus
24 March 2023

This version of the Stealth Plus Fairway Wood (Plus2) is even better than last years for several reasons - primarily, you can actually adjust the spin rates & launch trajectories to suit your game. I had Stealth Plus 3 & 5 woods in my bag, noticed that I rarely used the 3-wood so decided to buy the new 5-wood and turn it into a 4-wood with a bit lower spin. My launch angles are great, the roll out is better, and it's easier to swing and as reliable as most 5-woods are. I'm a senior (63, 6.5 HI; using Senior tees) and avering 175 with this new club.

Rocket Launcher
11 May 2023

This thing is a rocket launcher. My 14 year old hit his new Stealth 2 5W yesterday on a Par 5 and he was 270 to the pin. I wasn't thrilled with his club choice because I didn't think he could come close from that distance and lets face it a wood isn't always easy to hit and can have a big miss. He striped a draw that probably carried 215 and went 235 and might have just rolled on the green if it didn't over draw settling in rough left of the hole. He loves it and hits it amazing and his misses are still playable. The V-sole is replacing his Cobra with rails which I am gaming now and he loves the turf interaction a lot more but it still is versatile enough to hit from light rough.

Still the one
10 May 2023

I bought this to replace a well constructed M4 HL with a custom KuroKage shaft. The new Kai'li Blue was a good substitute for no extra charge.First day on the range was decent, saw the shape of the flight i wanted, shaft is holding up for my swing.Second day I started hitting the high draws I wanted off a very dirt ridden ground. So far I'm very pleased with this purchase, I think the shiny reflective coat of paint helps reduce the impression of overall size, which is nice for a larger fairway. The sound is also a traditional TM fairway with slightly low bass thwack.I'm not thinking about all the clubs I traded in, it was well worth it. You still have to learn to hit fairways, but you should be learning with these or any previous TM up to the original M1/M2

Tinkerers dream or nightmare
8 March 2023

There’s not much to not like about this club. Great shape sound and the most versatile FW ever made. With its deeper face its strength is def off the tee but can easily be hit off turf depending on skill. I tend to favor deeper faces than something shallow which leads to the perfect appealing pear shape fairway wood. Moving weight to either end not only makes a difference in flight but feel and almost feels like 2 different woods. If you like to tinker then this is the club for you cause with the movable weight and loft sleeve it’s an endless amount of settings that can be somewhat overwhelming to some. I still don’t feel I have a grasp of what setting suits me having this club a couple weeks in.
