Stealth DHY uses a low profile head, wide sole design and cambered sole for dynamic playability. The CG is strategically positioned extremely low to promote easy launch and a consistent ball flight. Engineered with an ultra-thin forged 4140 face and Inverted Cone Technology to create a flexible face, Stealth DHY delivers a large sweet spot for maximum distance, playability and forgiveness with incredible feel. Newly engineered SpeedFoam Air is 69% less dense than its predecessor. The weight saved has been redistributed in the head design to further optimize mass properties for better launch conditions. The new SpeedFoam Air delivers a sweet sound and solid feel, while allowing a fast, flexible face design. The Thru-Slot Speed Pocket provides increased face flexibility while preserving ball speed and distance on low face strikes.

As a 10 handicap, I was looking for an alternative to hit on the tee, especially on a windy day where I need a low trajectory. I am impressed by this club after 2 rounds with it...goes straigth, stays low, rolls a long time. Average distance for me: 225-245 yards. S T R A I G H T! Five stars.

Got the 4 iron with same shaft I have on irons yet 10 grams lighter. Always struggled with height and solid contact with long irons, and this season struggled with 4 hybrid off the deck. And this reality brought me to this beaut. In 2 weeks this has become my favorite club in my bag for long par 5s and par 3s, and shorter par 4s off the tee. So forgiving off the toe and consistently hit it to expected carry distance on off center strikes in the fairway. Also love this out of the rough when I need to run something up the fairway. I’m a 7 index, use player irons, and was hesitant of the bulky look. Yet I’ve grown so much confidence in it bc of the wider sole.

Forgiving club but distance for #4 club is shorter and same as my 5 iron P790. You do get higher trajectory though. Had my custom with 1.5 deg stronger loft. Club not great at giving feedback on center or mishits. Fill distance gap between long iron and Rescue Hybrid which is 20yrds longer for same 4 hybrid.

Fun interesting club I bought as a bit of an experiment. This club did not live up to expectations. I have a bladed driving iron from a brand I wont mention and it is much easier to hit than this. This club needs to you hit it dead center as best as your are going to hit a ball to deliver and consistency. When you do catch it perfectly it performs exactly as advertised. The only problem is I am not on the PGA tour and you need that type of consistency to make this club usable. Traded it in for pennies on the dollar overall one of my worst purchases from my favorite golf company taylormade. You guys have shown me over the years that you are better than this and I am quite dissappointed.
I bought this club to have a driving iron and a low lofted, low flight iron to get me out of tough areas where stingers or punch shots are needed. I find that the rescue hybrid tends to sky my shots and isn’t easy to hit from tougher lies. It performs exactly as I needed and the ball flight is great, similar to the low rise of a 3 wood if you hit it well. Great club!
Came in a huge box that was open and not in an official TaylorMade box. No club cover. Overall, was nice club with a weak shaft and horrible grip. Not as strong as a 3 wood. Not more forgiving than a 3 wood. Was a nice club but did not replace anything else in the back. Not worth the purchase.
I've been playing with this club in the bag for about 8 months now. It absolutely rips, no other way to put it. One of my most consistent clubs in the bag, and when driver isn't working, I grab this thing. When you make solid contact it's astonishingly long and feels effortless. The forgiveness is there too. I've been saved on many bad swings by this thing. There really isn't much more to say about it. its a great club.
This club has been a terrific addition to my game. Play on a course with narrow fairways and geared for target golf. Able to shoot low shots on narrow fairways and get the max amount of distance. The more I swing the club the greater the distance. Even pull this club out on long par 5’s on the fairway or in rough rather than using a hybrid or wood. So far my experience has been nothing but positive and has improved my personal game.
I got the stealth irons up to 5, but bought this club as a trick club.On the driving range i can stripe it 190-200 of a baby tee. Easy hit, great feel.On the course i teed off a 200yd par 3 and almost got on the green.I was able to hit it on the fairway, easily. The best shot was a par 4 where i went into the trees. Found the ball, needed a low shot under the trees. Took a 66% shot and hit it low and got to 5 yrds off the green. I kissed the club after that shot.
I got a brand new stealth UDI 2 iron about 2 months ago, The face cracked and caved in during my second round with it and only hitting aboyt 15 balls with it. I used the warranty and waited almost a month and TaylorMade sent me the wrong club, with the wrong loft, and the complete wrong flex in the shade. I have always been a TaylorMade player but this was very upsetting and disappointing.
