Performs very pooly compared to other TLC NVME drives that I've used. The HP EX950 and EX920 perform much better. Even the PCI-E 3.0x2 Patirot Scorch in the 256GB model performs better! Unless its firmware is flawed, it reports that its idle temp is 67C! Other drives with better performance don't get to that temp when running full out! Because of its slow performance, I've taken it out of my PC and placed it into an M.2/USB3.2 enclosure to use as a flash drive for moving data to remote systems. For the price, it's a very expensive USB stick. Not recommended.

I would recommend this drive to anyone interested in a SSD for an Operating System. The speeds are as described and The package came in 3 days and was in a small bag, without any unnecessary boxes. If you want to Migrate your OS to this SSD, make sure you have a software ready for that. I had to spend more than an hour searching for a free software that allowed migrating OS. Once found, the process was fairly quick and everything worked as expected.

I purchased two of these. The first failed within 6 weeks. No SMART errors or any warnings at all, just suddenly was not recognised by the the computer at all - like it was not installed. The second unit failed in exactly the same way about 4 weeks later - there one minute, gone the next. I will not be buying another SSD from TeamGroup.

I'm very pleased with this drive. Using in a mini itx build, it saves me space. I like how fast it is, and how stable it's been so far. My system boots up really fast. No stability or compatibility problems for me so far. Everything runs quickly for me with this. Made a ryzen 3200g inwin chopin build with this. It's worked really great for me so far, very happy. Fantastic if you have limited space and a motherboard that supports this form factor.
Died after less than 2 years of use. Was using it as a game storage drive. Used it actively about 3 times a week, at around 70% capacity. It was in an open air case with plenty of cooling. Today I tried to boot a game and got the error "drive doesn't exist". It's not visible in windows or BIOS.
So, let's not fool ourselves here: This drive is not for professional use. Pro video editors, Photo editors, animators, AutoCAD users, etc, etc need to go PCIe gen 4.0x4, with DRAM buffers. Even many youtubers and streamers may want to look somewhere else, some place with a better controller. If you are a pro, and your Read/Writes are mission critical, I cannot recommend. However, I bought this drive simply as extra storage for things like Media and Games, and use the rest as a scratch disk that I back up later. And it works perfectly for that task. Loading times decrease significantly compared to a SATA III SSD, and with a 5-year warranty and solid TBW Program/Erase ratings, this thing has proven itself reliable to me. There are faster cars in the lot, but this is ... MoreSo, let's not fool ourselves here: This drive is not for professional use. There are faster cars in the lot, but this is a nice, comfy, affordable station wagon, that gets the job done and doesn't complain. All at a very reasonable price. If this is your first NVMe, or if you just need that extra storage and have a spare M.2 slot. Then, I can highly recommend this.
I highly recommend this product. A real workhorse of an ssd. Not the fastest. I am never going to notice it's speed. It works and works well. I have three of these in various systems. Never a problem.
I went to youtube to learn how to install it and went easy after. I downloaded Windows 11 installation on a flash drive, then install the new hard drive, and the installation went smooth and fast after. By endorsing my Microsoft account, it picked up my original win 11 serial number and that is it.
Went with these due to overall high customer rating & good reviews, plus reasonable price-to-size ratio for true NVMe disks (at least at the time). Now on to the buuut....It's hard for me to know how much of the extreme performance of my new system is down to the raw speed of the drives, vs. CPU/RAM, vs. the fact that I have two in software RAID0. My previous system also had dual NVMe SSDs in RAID0 but was no where near this fast, so I just don't know. Perhaps more research would have found me something even faster without breaking the bank, but guess I'll never know! I'm very happy with this purchase!
Easy to install snaps right in, i was optimizing textures for materials and old drive was pegged at 100% dealing with 8k or even 4k textures. Now this drive just laughs along at 10% maybe. Now my ddr4 ram is the bottleneck, getting 15.9 gb percent usage, when loading textures.
