It is extremely well constructed and just the right size for my little Quaker.One thing I would say, though, is that the video that comes with it, although extremely informative, does not give a lot of detail about how to train smaller birds. I made the mistake of using the same technique shown on the video and had to hugely backtrack because my bird just was not ready for it.This product can be absolutely fantastic and give a bird lots of freedom BUT it is a really tough behaviour for a bird to learn and, as I have discovered, really important not to rush. Take the time to read as many online articles and watch as many GOOD videos as you can. I’ve been free flight training birds for a while and after readying the hype over aviator harnesses thought I’d give one a go. Honestly, I’m not not impressed.Firstly, the fact you can’t detach the lead is madness as a bird needs to feel comfortable first and foremost in a harness without a long dangly thing below them. Massive design flaw.Secondly, under flight the harness has the ability to ride up under the wings aggregating the joints… no matter how well you fit it (admittedly this is the conversation on a dozen macaws).Overall I didn’t like and it’s in the bin

I bought the size base on my bird and how much she weighs. I trained her for months to get accustomed to it and finally got it on but when it was time to take it off I had to cut it off and she freaked out. So gonna have to start training all over again. I ordered a bigger size.
