Was a gift for my partner since his had gotten torn on a trip. This one is much better quality, though, because the last one we got was from an outlet. It was still wonderful but this one has some nice touches to the quality of work on it! I can't believe i found this at such a great price as well, and the shipping was speedy and the jacket was packaged nicely. Thank you Peter Glenn!

Excellent quality. Definitely my new go to jacket for the spring / fall timeframe. Super stylish as well.
I have owned this coat many years ago and loved it. So I purchased another, love the colour, blue heather. Same great softness and wind blocking. Like the high collar. The only draw back for me was the sleeves are a little long and there are is no way to tighten the sleeves, like my old jacket.
Bought for my husband. This is probably his 4th Apex jacket. The cut compliments him nicely. It’s roomy enough that he can wear a thick sweater when the weather is extra nippy.
For fall and spring here in Ottawa. It was great yesterday when the wind was at 30 km/h. I got the Aviation Navy Heather, which is absolutely lovely in a dark navy blue. The jacket is water-repellant but not necessarily waterproof fyi.
I used to have the original Bionic. Was a great jacket, but the build and quality of this one is much better. Somewhat of a modern fit (not loose), but not so fitted that you can’t wear another layer underneath. I also really like the way the North Face logo blends in rather than stands out.
This is my second bionic jacket, having only replaced the first one because I lost a bunch of weight and needed to size down. I bought large, which I think ought to be a good size for me. I think it was the right choice, as the sleeves are still long enough, but the cut is a bit relaxed for my liking. Definitely room to layer, but I think even if I had a thick sweatshirt on it would have some extra space in it. Other than that, I'm always pleased with these jackets, as they are good at being my everyday go to as long as the temps aren't too bitter cold. I do wish there was an internal pocket somewhere, but that's just being finicky.All in all, a good purchase. I am so happy I was able to purchase this jacket. I used to have one for several years but sold it and regretted it. Now I will be selling my current jacket. I just love the fit and feel of this jacket. I also love the fact that it protects your neck from the wind. Overall a great purchase.
