This is the BEST cold weather jacket I own, and I have some LLBean and Patagonia coats too. The hood fits perfectly; it does not hang down in front of your face like some jackets. The collar is great too; it is easy to keep your face warm on windy days. Do not hesitate! Buy this jacket! No regrets!

Great jacket! Like the relaxed fit for true to size for a rounder body. Definitely stylish and will definitely keep you warm, even in extreme cold. Front pockets were strange at first but no problem to get adjusted to. I would recommend it, remember it definitely runs true to size for a more comfortable fit.

My previous Himalayan down (7 years old) is showing signs of age but still does the job. Unfortunately my wife thought it was time to retire it to work in the garden đ˘. My new jacket is a great replacement and gives me all the qualities and comfort of my old one. Couldn't imagine waring or wanting anything other than North Face. Great Jacket I would highly recommend.
The jacket definitely keeps you warm BUT the product isn't worth the money. Writhing two days of wearing it the feathers start coming out of it, not just one spot but all over. I even tried to contact customer service and they were ridiculous in their assistance protocol. They need to back to the original material they used. Absolutely not happy.
I wore this coat for the first time today in 38 degree weather. Itâs a surprisingly nice coat with a nice comfy hood, great styling, a puffy look, snug fitting cuffs, and decent warmth. A major drawback are the tiny side pockets, the only external pockets, and the single small internal zipped pocket. The 550 fill power down I would consider another drawback to the coat. But itâs warm enough for a hip length coat. And the color scheme and styling are very nice. As with all North Face coats, I had to downsize. I bought a Medium although I normally wear a Large, and the Medium fit is good, even the sleeves.
I wouldn't buy the product again because the fillings (feather) keeps falling every time that I wear it. Seems like I am not the only one with such issue. Some other buyers had same issues it seems. To be honest I wasn't expecting the filling material to be feathers. Maybe I made a wrong choice but nevertheless for the price, such quality is unacceptable.Few good things I would like to point out is1. Cosy jacket.2. Perfect size (XS)3. Comfortable zipper.4. Looks durable (but not the filling since it keeps falling).

Better to me than the Nuptse, simply because it covers more of your body with its down-fill hood that can zip right up to your face, and oversized fit which can still be cropped by cinching the waist to your preference. Not to mention, you standout from the crowd of Nuptses and still carry that TNF clout loud and proud. You can dress this jacket up and downâessentially, you can wear it with anything, and youâll be the flyest, warmest and puffiest person anywhere you go. 100% recommend, especially for the Boxing Day sale price. Forget the hype, go with a true and real classic, and go a size down if you want a skinny fit.
The best heavy duty parka ever created. This is the ultimate heavy duty parka for the coldest winter. Whether you live in a region that is wet, windy, blistering cold or all of the above, this is the perfect parka for all. A heavy down parka but I don't the heaviness because once I put this parka on, I feel absolutely nothing from the outside environment. This parka is very very warm and helps retain body heat very well. The sleeves are the perfect length and the zippers are heavy duty. The Black on Black is my favorite duty to it's easy to pair with a outfit. Be very careful layering with this parka or else you'll easily over heat.
This is probably going to disqualify me from staying in the running for a $100 gift card but this coat is far better than I imagined. It's rugged, styled right, very reassuring to put on when the weather is rough. It's rightfully expensive but could somebody tell me why North Face would try to save money by only using a $0.12 zipper on such a rugged coat. The zipper is small, hard to engage and definitely misplaced for this garment. It's like buying a truck and putting VW tires on it. And, while I'm at it--why not add some utility pockets on the outside for a phone or small camera or wallet. You only have HUGE cargo pockets. OK, that's it. I'm done. I still love it.
