Awesome for both snowboarding and lounging

These slipper/shoes are quite possibly one of the greatest things I've ever purchased. They are like a sleeping bag for your foot, and the heel folds down so you can wear them like a normal shoe or like a slipper, depending on how lazy you are. They're super warm and waterproof, so they're perfect for apres ski or for driving up to the resort in. They're also very durable, so they'll withstand harsh conditions and they're perfect for walking around the house in.My only gripe with these is that the pull-tab on the heel is on the bottom of the heel cup, rendering it pretty much useless. If it was on the top of the heel, then you could use it for pulling the heel up over your foot if you're wearing them like a slipper.

These things are amazing. I bought them on a whim after a friend suggested them and I am not disappointed. They are incredibly comfortable, super warm and very practical. They will last a long time and the grip on the bottom is really very good. They have some water proofing around the bottoms that looks sturdy. I can’t wait to use them on my first walk to the hot tub in the snow. Will for sure recommend and buy again.I am normally a size 11 shoe. Bought a size 11 and they fit perfectly.

I was a bit skeptical about these slippers but once I got them and tried them on I was very happy with my choice. They are very cozy and warm. The sole is durable and grippy for wearing them outside or for camping purposes. Sizing is critical as it determined the comfort level for me. I found that these are not easy on and off slippers. But once on, they can feel like a second skin. Time will tell whether they are durable in the long run, however they seem well made. I only wish the North Face made 1/2 sizes for an even better fit.

Eh, I've had better...I've had better???
16 January 2023

The shoe itself is pretty dope...However, if you have a hoof that is wide in the slightest... this isn't for you. I can get my foot it, but it seems I am about ready for a nap once I get both it. It's like wrestling an alligator to get my foot in. Once it's in, it feels great for about 5 min, then I realize I have no feeling in my foot. Because the shoe is so tight around my beefy ankle,at that point I come to a cross roads... I have to decide," do I want to keep the foot or the shoe?" I chose the shoe, because it just looked so comfy... so I chopped my foot off and pretend it's because I trekked all the way up a mountain during a storm...a storm of a lifetime! So now I keep my chopped off foot in the shoe encased by epoxy and a cool led strip to make it pop!

Great overall value/PNW certified

I want to give these slippers a 5/5 because of the way they check every box in what I was looking for. I live in the PNW, so it's hard to find a durable slipper that you can keep on between lounging inside and going outside to get the mail/take the dog out/etc. But these are perfect for all of the above. Truly waterproof, comfy to walk in or just have as slippers, and stylish enough to wear to the store, they really are the ideal slipper. They do not have much of any type of support being that the sole is well-cushioned and, well , it's a slipper- but expecting these qualities ahead of time it would be unreasonable for me to suggest that the lack of support is a fault of the slipper, rather than appreciate that it is the style of footwear I've chosen. I will say though, I tend to be most comfortable in low-cut shoes that offer minimal ankle support, so for me these are perfect to wear to the store or even a brief walk around the neighborhood with my dog (a meathead German Shepherd who lunges at every squirrel). They may get a little warm and not super well ventilated at times but again, they are slippers, not distance running shoes. There are only two things that I can really say I wish was different. First, I wish the bottoms had better traction. If the surface I'm walking on has traction itself (like pavement) then it's not an issue, but on a wet kitchen floor you best be ready to dance. The second item would be the durability of the Thermoball material. This is tough to knock because it's that material that makes these so stylish and warm, and all things considered they do hold up very well (I mean come on, it's basically sleeping bag material on your feet, and your feet see a lot of action). But I had to replace my first pair because they would snag on twigs and rip, this also eliminating the waterproof factor. It's important to mention though that I'm probably an extreme example of calling the durability into question, because I've been working from home since the beginning of the pandemic and I quite literally always have these on my feet if I'm not doing something that requires otherwise (like shower, treadmill, sleeping). So to me, the fact that they last so well for half a year of daily hard use (all day in the office, taking dog out, errands, you name it) and are functional in all aspects is pretty impressive. Enough so that I plan on buying a third pair, and when I bought this second pair I also bought a pair for my wife- which is also important to mention because she babies hers (she likes them too much, wears them selectively) and in the same amount of time hers basically look brand new. Great product overall, definitely recommend!!

I would by these again after the first pair wears out.

I wear them around the house, to take out the trash and retrieve the mail. They are comfortable and functional because they were designed with rubber soles and solid toe kick. They keep my toes warm on cold and chilly mornings which is a benefit they have over my adidalette slides that I own and utilize. The thermoball traction mule V are well designed; the only modification that I deemed necessary was to add a superfeet insole underneath the north face provided insole, which has a hard plastic heel for added support and comfort for my feet. I do believe that the north face logo on the side of the footwear should have been embroidered into the shoe instead of just being silk screened on them. Regardless of that disappointment I decided to keep them and give them a chance to replace my adidalette slides. I would recommend the theroball traction mule V 's to my friends and associates.

Low quality. Poor fit.
3 November 2022

I regret buying these slippers. It would be an understatement to say these slippers fit small. I ordered my usual size, a 12. These are so small I'm not able to get my feet inside them. At all. It's hard to believe these were manufactured to TNF's specifications. The sole, and what in a climbing shoe would be called the rand, consist of low quality shiny plastic of the sort you might find in a dollar store.I'll be returning these or throwing them out.

Returned these.

Most of the reviews posted here were strong for this slipper. That attracted me to these. However, many reviews seemed part of a 'promotion' and have to wonder now if that automatically compels a reviewer to be artificially enthusiastic. I do agree that it runs a tad small so ordering a size up is best. I tend to wear size 10 in a slipper but size 11 was better in this instance. Having said that...though I found the slipper well constructed, I was disappointed that the sole has zero arch support and minimal padding. For the price of this slipper, that shouldn't be the case. It was a deal breaker for me. I returned them.

Well made, but very tight and small.
24 November 2022

The build quality and soles are excellent. However these are very difficult to put on. Unlike the MEC hut slippers, the opening for your foot has no stretchy elastic. It is difficult to put these on without sitting down and using both hands. Once on, the opening is so tight that it painfully rubs along the upper midfoot. I purchased size 11, which is my foot size in every other shoe, brand, boot, flip-flop, you name it. Length-wise it is size 11 and I wouldn't want longer, but the fit itself is extremely tight for volume. I do not have particularly large volume feet but I do have arches. Not sure if sizing up 1/2 size would help. Other reviewers have noted the sizing fits tight.

perfect slippers for winter
28 October 2022

I ordered a pair to wear at home as my feet get colder and don't want to wear socks at home, so I decided to order a pair.At first, it looks very cozy and warm due to the fleece lining. When I tried it, it fits snug and very light. It's also perfect for going to driveway from home on a cold day.It is not only comfortable and cozy, it also looks great and stylish. In terms of sizing, it's bit snug, so if you wanna wear it with a pair thick wool socks, I would half size up. If your feet are wider than usual, also half size up.However, if you have regular feet and planning on wearing without socks, then wear your regular size.
