Nicholas Sparks “The Wish” is such a wonderful book! It was hard to put down, and I finished it in 3 days. The story is about a terminally ill woman who recalls the story of her first love to a young man. This is such a beautiful story that I highly recommend to others!

(Another) Great story from Nicholas Sparks

Hard to put this book down once I began reading it. The story took me back to the time and place of the main character’s journey in her life. I’ll admit, this is the first Nicholas Sparks book where I suspected what was going to be revealed towards the end, and I was right. Nevertheless I enjoyed this book immensely. There are two Sparks novels that have made my cry..Dear John and THIS BOOK. I don’t want to say much more that will spoil the details for future readers. I would recommend this book very much.

A Touching Story

This book left me in tears. It was not what I expected when I originally had purchased the book. However, it reminded me that in life there’s always a moment when we wish we could turn back time, to reminisce in moments that were so long ago. It’s about the impact people have on us and how we carry a piece of them in our hearts forever.

Amazing Book!!

It was truly an amazing read. I felt that I was watching a movie while reading it, I don’t know if anyone ever felt that while reading the story, but I sure did and the emotions I felt were so mixed it left me wanting to keep reading the story till I finally finished it within a day and a half. Amazing read definitely recommend

If you only read a a little bit of this book and stopped, you really missed out on an incredible story. Buy this book! I cannot stress that enough. Beautiful story. Nicholas Sparks broke my heart and put it back together again with this book! I’ve never cried so hard reading a book! It’s amazing! Buy it NOW!!!!

Another good one

I have read almost all of NS’s books and this was a good one. I don’t think it’s as good as some (the Choice, Nights in Rodanthe etc) but it was good for one of his newer reads. I attempted to read See Me last year and I couldn’t even finish it so I was excited to read this and see more of his classic style love story again. This story is a tad predictable in some ways, but also has a different twist than most love stories. I really enjoyed it overall!

Classic Sparks Twists

Got two Sparks books for Mom, and she already devoured this one! She loved the surprise ending. Def recommend as this book will hold your attention. Makes a great gift

Engaging and heartfelt!!!

Nicholas Sparks has gone above and beyond with this fantastic heart wrenching tale! I believe this will make it to the big screen as it so rightly deserves! As this story unfolded, I found myself so engaged and wanting more and more. I couldn't put it down. The ending was spectacular and I have to say I didn't see it coming. I loved this book so very much and I've already told all of my reader friends that it is a must read! I was transported by this story to this place and time and felt such a connection with the characters and their circumstances. My favorite book of Nicholas Sparks will always be The Notebook which touched my heart as no other book has, but The Wish is a close second!

Too Slow

The narrator did make younger Maggie sound much younger than she was at times.Overall, this was better than the last few but still not what I want and expect from NS.
