I recently tried the microwave Pure Basmati Rice and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! It was incredibly easy to make and turned out beautifully fluffy every time. The taste was absolutely delicious and it paired perfectly with various meals. It has become my go-to choice for some quick rice, and I highly recommend it!

The best instant rice for me for texture, flavour, and quantity. Worth the additional cost when I can afford it, especially as I have no idea where to get Japanese style rice like akita komachi or koshihikari.

I've been cooking rice for decades, including this make, and have never had a problem. But twice now I've cooked this rice and it turned out soggy and more like wallpaper paste both times and was barely edible! So, although I hate wasting food, I've thrown the rest of the packet away and reverted to Uncle Ben's.

Stuck together burnt around the edges had soft orange pieces tasted horrible. Cannot believe this made it to the shelves. Their taste testers were obviously lacking a sense of taste that day! Avoid!
I really wish food producers were more accurate when refering to "spicy" products. Occasionally a label says medium and you are panting like Smaug. Too often though you are promised hot hot hot but get not not not. This is another of those. Nowhere near as spicy as the fire and brimstone packaging suggests but still nice to have with a Ruby or Chilli Con Carni. Almost nice enough to have on its own. Definitely not spicy though. A long way from it.
I don't understand the bad reviews. I've been buying the small bags which always cooked perfectly in a 2:1 ratio. I bring to a boil then turn down to the lowest simmer for about 10mins then turn off for 10 and it's perfect and fluffy. I decided to take the plunge and get the big bag and it's exactly the same. Perfect fluffy rice every time.
I've ordered bags of the stuff and literally never had an issue unless I've gotten my timings wrong. I just don't understand why folks are having so many problems if they're following the instructions. Deep pan, boiling water, 12 mins, 3 mins of steaming. Delicious, consistent rice.
I thought it was me! Couldnt work out why this rice cooked up all stodgy. Then I read previous reviews and found other customers had had the same disappointing results. Tilda, you need to sort this out as you have ruined my recipe & dinner. Do NOT recommend.
Nowhere does the product lit peas. I don't know where those reviews are coming from. Jambalaya is very tasty. Not very hot but to me that's a good thing. I hope Morrison's continues to carry it. I will continue to buy it.
I bought this a few times and it is very average, not particularly nice but it cooked well in the rice cooker. However Im very particular about where my food comes from, I tried to search it everywhere (on their website, product packaging etc) and theres no way to tell where these rice comes from. So Ive decided not to buy this anymore.
