Rated these boots 3 stars due to the quality issues of the boots. Upon unboxing the boots, I’ve noticed immediately that one side of the boot (toe box) had a indentation. The other side, a scratch/scuff on the medial side of the boot. I have been wearing timberlands since my high school days, and there is no other footwear I would rather have on my feet than the Wheat or Black boots. Being in my mid 30’s today, it seems like the craftsmanship of these 6 inch beauties, wasn’t what it used to be. Anyways…scuffs, scratch, or any imperfections that it may be out of the factory, (I got rhymes, by the way) my love for timbs won’t change but at least let me be the one to put those scars and character on my beloved timbs first and only.

Awful!

I purchased these as a gift. I received boots that’s were clearly already worn. Obviously no one decided to check the boots the first time they were return or they did and for some reason thought theses were ok to resell. It has now been a week since I returned them and am still waiting for myMoney back. I had to reorder from another company because champs couldn’t send me another pair until they received the return which is ridiculous when this is their fault. I was offered 25% of my next purchase which is a joke because you can’t use it on anything good and after this experience, why would I even place another order?

Definitely NOT as fresh as expected!

I ordered these for my husband for Christmas, when he opened them on Christmas morning we discovered that the boots were scuffed on the side, slightly discolored, and has what looks like an oil stain on the top of one of the boots. We then came down with Covid, being quarantined we were unable to make the deadline for returns and despite our condition our exchange/return was denied by a store associate. Very disappointing! It’s almost as if they would prefer we went into the store with Covid to meet the deadline to exchange. This isn’t how you treat people. $198 on a pair of boots and now we’re stuck with them being defected. I don’t think I’ll be purchasing from Foot action going forward.

Every Christmas
29 October 2022

my son ask for a fresh new pair every Christmas..These shoes last longer than that and wear very well! they do run at least 1/2 size bigger . They do keep his feet warm in the winter and keep feet dry . he uses his oldest pair for yard work ! the pair from last year still looks good to me! the price is expensive but they are worth it!

Great Classic Boot
2 December 2022

I love me some Timberland boots. They keep my feet warm, dry and comfy for thos cold days. I bought this pair for my son who has to stand at a bus stop early in the winter mornings. We love how they are stylish and comfortable. Great boot for all!? They ran big, next time I'm going to size down.

Great Merchandise
31 October 2022

Thanks for the opportunity for looking at my review. I brought these boots for a homeless man who truly needed them. They are Definitely great quality of boot that I would advise anyone who likes timberlands to purchase from Bloomingdale's. Now I said Bloomingdales because I've researched other stores and the quality of the merchandise was not Upstanders so thank you Bloomingdales again

I would not buy this boot again
29 November 2019

I bought this boot as casual footwear for going out when it is cold, snowy and icy outside. I hate cold and wet feet. I have two pair of Timberland pro work safety toe boots that I like quite well and thought these would be like them. I was totally wrong. First and foremost, these are not good for traction and stability in snow and extremely dangerous to wear on ice, the outside sole cleats are too hard. I tried to cross a snowy and icy street with them and they have absolutely no grip and I almost fell, kinda like walking with a smooth sole on a dress shoe, slick as snot. I got back home and changed shoes to my old Timberland Pro safety toe work shoe and they walked on ice and snow 100% better, like night as day. Another thing is that I need to wear two pairs of socks to keep my feet warm with them and the in-soles are not padded much at all. I have worn them twice and they look almost like new, I wish I could return them to Dillard's, but Dillard's return policy states that I can't since I have worn them.

MY BOOTS CAME WORN!! A Few days before the holiday
24 December 2020

My boots came already worn and scuffed. They’ve clearly was an attempt to clean them because they s had suede flakes and light spots from a Nubuck brush. And I’m not talking about maybe somebody wore them once and returned them. It looked like somebody had them for at least two seasons, cleaned them, and I got the honor of paying FULL PRICE FOR THEM! I’m beyond angry. I work hard for my money and this is reckless. Especially hearing how hard of a time people have returning things to champs. I wonder where the extra caution was when somebody returned these boots I ended up with. Bottom line, don’t buy timberlands from here. They don’t care about the quality as long as they can turn a quick profit. Buy them in person and open the box before giving your money over. Or ... MoreMy boots came already worn and scuffed. Solid performing boots
3 January 2023

I wore the boots (black version) in the Tahoe snow and they performed very well. My feet stayed warm and completely dry the entire time (many hours in the snow). They also did well in puddles. They are solid boots, based on my initial test of 4 days in Tahoe.

Tricky sizing, BUT very comfortable and good for weather.
3 March 2021

I normally wear a US size 11 in shoes (occasionally 10.5 depending on the shoe). I bought the 6 inch Premium Timberland Boots in store and I tried on both a size 11 and a size 10.5 When I put on my normal size (11), it felt completely comfortable but when I walked I could tell it was too loose. I tried on the 10.5 and it felt better. It was still comfortable but it felt like I could walk better in it without it feeling like it would fall off my feet.I've now had mine for 5 months. I think the 10.5 is good enough for me, but if I recommend one thing to all potential buyers, it's: go down a full size, or at least a half size. Many people like to wear their Timbs loose and not tied tightly. Many people like to wear their Timbs loose and not tied tightly. With my 10.5, I have to actually tie the shoes (loopty-loop then pull and all) in order for the boots to feel snug to my feet. Although walking in them without the shoes tied does not have a significant risk of the boots falling off your feet, it still feels very loose. So in the future, I will purchase a full size down in Timberlands (meaning I will buy a size 10 in Timbs). If no full size down is available, then I'll go for a half size down since it is still satisfactory. I do not recommend buying your normal shoe size as it will feel comfortable when standing/sitting still, but when you walk, the boot will be very loose.I also recommend spraying your boots with Timberland's balm protector & water proofer to help extend the life of your boots to protect them from snow and water. If any salt gets on your boots, make sure you clean them so the salt doesn't sit in the boot for too long and end up damaging the material.----------------------TL;DR: Go for a full size down from your normal shoe size. If a full size down is not available, then go at least for a half size down. I wear a US size 11 in sneakers, and I bought a 10.5 in Timbs; however, a 10 in Timbs would likely be even better. Additionally, take care of your boots by cleaning them and spraying them with waterproofer.
