I absolutely love the look, comfort and how they go with many outfits. The only reason I gave it four stars is because they run big. We don't have the luxury of trying them on when we buy them online so it was a bummer to put them on when they arrived and they were a size too big. When I wear them, I put on thick winter socks and they fit like they should and that is how I got around the loose fit.

Excellent boots

Very classic styling boots. I bought these boots for my 12 year old son. He’s wanted these since last season, but were sold out. He said they are very comfortable. There is minimal lining, so thicker socks would be needed to wear them comfortably in the winter. He loves them and would definitely recommend them.

Fits PERFECT, but be careful with sizing!

Bloomingdale's was the only legit seller of black timberland premium boots in size 9. Sold out every else or people price gauging. I was still nervous about ordering online because timberland boots are well known for not fitting the same as regular shoes/sneakers. MY SPECIFIC NOTE: I went to a Macy's to try on Timbs. I was able to try a size 8.5, which was way too small, and a size 9.5, which was too big. Therefore, I was able to make an educated guess that size 9 would be my size. If I hadn't done that, I may very well have ordered the wrong size. Despite being nervous that maybe size 9 wouldn't fit well, I cant stress enough that it's a PERFECT fit, and very comfortable! I'm so excited to take these out!!! Also, despite my order being in "processing" for many ... MoreBloomingdale's was the only legit seller of black timberland premium boots in size 9. Great boots for the price
24 January 2024

Only worn for a few weeks so far but impressed with the warmth, comfort and surface's resistance to salt. Good grip for icy city streets too.Would be better if the soles were recraftable but that's hard to find at this price point, particularly combined with a bit of insulation. My other small note is the laces supplied are a few inches too short to properly use all the eyelets.

I purchased the shoes for my son since this brand is all he ever wears. This specific shoes is used as a casual dress shoes and he wears them proudly. The conform and longevity of the shoes is what draws him back. That and the style. He currently owns several pairs including the hiking boots. He will forever be a Tims fan for years to come.

Look great, feel great, but buy 1/2 a size to a full size smaller.
10 July 2023

I purchased these at HypeDC in two sizes, a 10 and 11. Both fit well. The 10 was perfect, but had a defect biting into my ankle. So i kept the 11, and managed with an insole and am very happy with the style and overall fit. The leather is not hard. It actually moulds really nicely around my foot, and the shoes are comfortable on the get go. They are slightly heavy though, so initially it feels like you're lugging them around, but the feeling goes away after a while. These all blacks look absolutely amazing. Too bad Timerbland Australia don't sell these in half sizes!

Nice boot
1 April 2024

Nice boot! Looks good. Feels good according to my husband. Looking forward to trying these out in the snow later this year. Rhythm Snowsports was fantastic to deal with. Their website was easy to navigate, had a great range and their postage was incredibly fast. We will be dropping into their Cooma store on our way to Theedbo later this year for the rest of our snowsport needs.

Perfect Left Painful Right
14 December 2023

This is my first timberland boot. Love it, very comfortable for my left foot. I have worn this boot twice since I got it. Each time, the tongue of the right boot press on the front part of my ankle causing alot of pain. I have to loose the lace to give some relief to my foot. The left is completely perfect. This makes me wonder, is it the right boot that has a problem or my right foot?

The. BEST. boots. EVER!
12 March 2023

Bought a less expensive pair of boots for the cold weather in Newark, after one day, when the sole fell off, I figured I should look into maybe getting a more reliable brand. I went to Macy’s in Jersey City and found these Timberlands in black. I immediately fell in love with them! Most boots are usually a little loose. These fit perfectly, not to snug. I tried them on with a standard pair of socks and was amazed at how comfortable they were. I was also able to wear them with a thick winter sock and they still felt amazing. Wore them immediately, lots of walking and still NO blisters or sore feet. They were a little more than I expected to spend but they are totally worth the price! i highly recommend picking yourself up a pair.

Tricky sizing, BUT very comfortable and good for weather.

I normally wear a US size 11 in shoes (occasionally 10.5 depending on the shoe). I bought the 6 inch Premium Timberland Boots in store and I tried on both a size 11 and a size 10.5 When I put on my normal size (11), it felt completely comfortable but when I walked I could tell it was too loose. I tried on the 10.5 and it felt better. It was still comfortable but it felt like I could walk better in it without it feeling like it would fall off my feet.I've now had mine for 5 months. I think the 10.5 is good enough for me, but if I recommend one thing to all potential buyers, it's: go down a full size, or at least a half size. Many people like to wear their Timbs loose and not tied tightly. I think the 10.5 is good enough for me, but if I recommend one thing to all potential buyers, it's: go down a full size, or at least a half size. Many people like to wear their Timbs loose and not tied tightly. With my 10.5, I have to actually tie the shoes (loopty-loop then pull and all) in order for the boots to feel snug to my feet. Although walking in them without the shoes tied does not have a significant risk of the boots falling off your feet, it still feels very loose. So in the future, I will purchase a full size down in Timberlands (meaning I will buy a size 10 in Timbs). If no full size down is available, then I'll go for a half size down since it is still satisfactory. I do not recommend buying your normal shoe size as it will feel comfortable when standing/sitting still, but when you walk, the boot will be very loose.I also recommend spraying your boots with Timberland's balm protector & water proofer to help extend the life of your boots to protect them from snow and water. If any salt gets on your boots, make sure you clean them so the salt doesn't sit in the boot for too long and end up damaging the material.----------------------TL;DR: Go for a full size down from your normal shoe size. If a full size down is not available, then go at least for a half size down. I wear a US size 11 in sneakers, and I bought a 10.5 in Timbs; however, a 10 in Timbs would likely be even better. Additionally, take care of your boots by cleaning them and spraying them with waterproofer.
