I would characterize the fragrance as spicy-oriental rather than gourmand, but it's up to the individual to decide what to eat... But what sets it apart from many other orientals is that it always retains a certain transparency and never appears sweet, overblown or overcharged. I also think it's a perfume that can be worn all the time: in the morning, at noon, in the evening, at night, in spring, autumn and winter. It smells amazing. It is an airy sweetness. It is not heavy at all. I wouldve bought this so fast had it projected more. When I tested it on my arm I could not smell it even with my nose up close to it. However, i did het whiffs of it from time to time. I guess its for an intimate date moment where its only for you and your partner to smell. For me however if I’m going to drop almost $100 on a 50 mL bottle then I expect everyone within eyesight to he able to smell me. It wouldve been okay if it was 60$ and under for a 100 mL bottle but my expectations are very high when it comes to dropping a lot of money on a fragrance. The opening has a smooth spiced note. I purchased the Tom Form Noir as a birthday present

I purchased the Tom Form Noir as a birthday present for my partner as he has been using Tom Ford for many years now. I too have also used the Noir on occasion as its fragrance always lasts a very long time. How disapointed I was when I sprayed the Parfum, it smelt like Noir however, the notes changed very quickly and the fragrance evaporated after a short while???? I am a trained Aromatherapist and have a keen sense of smell which has made me question if this is a authentic Parfum. I have not mentioned this to my patrner as I now feel that I should not have purchased such a product from MyPerfumeShop. Am I too trustworthy or just plain ignorant? MyPerfumeShop need to do a check to see if what they are selling is authentic......
