Excellent tasting, very refreshing, does a wonderful job of cleaning the teeth and leaving a fine (but not over-powering) after-taste in your mouth. Beyond that, there's a lot to like here: BPA free packaging, no animal testing, artificial dyes, sweeteners. The tube is a little smaller than regular tubes. Other than that, this is just good stuff. Check my pictures to see exactly what you're getting yourself into here. And for those reasons, I'm in!

For years I've had increasingly sensitive teeth in one area where the gums have receded from my molars, exposing the dentin layer under the tooth enamel. In several other areas with no recession, my teeth are painful during winter outdoor activities. I've tried Sensodyne as well as Crest and Colgate sensitive toothpastes, without satisfactory relief. I finally tried Tom's Rapid Relief, and I've found that it's the only one that relieves consistently, both in areas of gum recession and on sensitive teeth with no recession. It's a bit more expensive - which is why I passed it up for some time - but it's well worth the cost. I certainly recommend it.

I like this toothpaste a lot. The mint flavor is not overwhelming. It’s the perfect amount of flavor. It does not burn like some mint toothpastes do.It’s is a softer paste that spreads easily. No big clumps that do not dissolve. I feel every bit of it gets used. A little goes a long way.I use a sonic toothbrush with this.The three pack is a good value. I recommend this toothpaste. I really don’t see any negatives.

I'm glad it isn't a baking soda based or type of natural toothpaste which I encounter often. I do realize what could be more natural than baking soda along with it's benefits as well BUT I just hate that mouth feel it gives in toothpaste as you are brushing your teeth. The Tom’s of Maine Simply White Anticavity Toothpaste with Fluoride, Clean Mint, 3 Pack, 4.0 Oz is a comparably similar and good alternative to my normal toothpaste. It isn't "quite" as thick consistancy or foamy in your mouth but I'm really enjoying the more mild tasting good mint flavor. It's not that strong or heavy overpowering your taste buds level of mint most of my normal toothpastes bring to the table. I've been pretty satisfied thus far and honestly don't even think about or realize it's any different than what I was using anymore aside from the better taste.
Works fine as a toothpaste, but offers little to stand out. It foams less than an average toothpaste, which is in principle fine, but leaves one less than satisfied mentally about brushing the teeth. The flavor is almost nonexistent (very little of the minty freshness). As far as whitening goes, after 3 weeks of regular use, I haven't seen anything that would suggest the "simply white" label is fitting. On the plus side, there is very little unnecessary ingredients in there and the packaging is recyclable. I would say it's just ok overall.
OK, while my first choice of toothpaste is the other leading, natural brand toothpaste. THIS one also addresses sensitive teeth. While not quite as strong at desensitizing my gums, it has a far more preferable (mild) flavor than the major brand, sensitive treatment toothpaste. Tom's toothpastes are effective, healthy and have pleasant, mild flavors. While your mouth feels clean and refreshed, you will not feel as if you have had a fist of mint leaves shoved into your face. Nice product and a healthier, kinder choice of toothpaste compared to the national, major brands.
I purchased Tom's of Maine Fluoride-Free Rapid Relief Sensitive Toothpaste on 6/18/24 (yesterday). I attempted to use the toothpaste yesterday around 8 pm. I use the word attempted because the FRESH MINT - or another of the ingredients - was so incredibly strong, it was like I was brushing my teeth with hot sauce. My entire mouth and throat reacted immediately and started burning so badly that I could not finalize brushing my teeth. Instead, I spit the toothpaste out and started rinsing and gargling with cold water. Warm water only made the sting in my mouth and throat much worse. I am a fan of Tom's toothpaste, generally. My young son has been using this brand's children's flavors from the start. But this particular one is not my favorite. I like the paste itself, which is gentle and leaves my mouth feeling clean. I do think that my teeth look whiter after using this product. My complaint is about the flavor. The peppermint oil overwhelms me with a menthol sensation and also irritates the skin around my mouth. That issue aside, I appreciate that this toothpaste has the seal of the American Dental Association and comes in a three-pack.

Tom's of Maine Rapid Relief Sensitive Natural Toothpaste is a great addition to your oral care routine for sensitive teeth! I love trying natural products but found this taste and texture hard to get used to. I had been using a gel-based toothpaste prior to this one and found it more “foamy” than my other. It is good for rapid relief action and I noticed less discomfort and sensitivity in my teeth after using. For the eco-conscious consumers and those seeking alternatives to traditional toothpaste, I would definitely give the Tom’s of Maine products a try!
