I have 45 cats, and I have tried most litters and typically now just use paper litter which is completely changed over twice weekly. I was recommended this by my vet, I decided to use it in two large litter boxes. It is so easy to scoop daily, and it has been over 4 weeks of use now without it smelling one bit. I have topped both boxes up once in that time. The price works out amazing given how long it lasts for, so now I am using it in other litter boxes. So happy with this product and I have never been completely happy with any litter previously until this one!

Okay so first off I will say that I have ASD which means I experience smells more intensely than most people so I went on a mission to find the best litter that 1. doesn't have much of a scent on it's own, and 2. actually covers the smell of cat poop wellThis is by far the best I have tried, there's no dust so it doesn't track around the house, easy to scoop up and clumps well, lasts a really long time compared to others, and the litter itself doesn't have much of a scent. Does a way better job of covering the smell of poops than other natural litters like the R&C clumping corn litter (which on it's own has a strange smell compared to this). I've tried clay, crystal, recycled paper, tofu, scented litters, and so far this performs the best out of all. Just remember ... MoreOkay so first off I will say that I have ASD which means I experience smells more intensely than most people so I went on a mission to find the best litter that 1. doesn't have much of a scent on it's own, and 2. actually covers the smell of cat poop wellThis is by far the best I have tried, there's no dust so it doesn't track around the house, easy to scoop up and clumps well, lasts a really long time compared to others, and the litter itself doesn't have much of a scent. Just remember that your cat is pooping into an open box in your house so no matter what litter you use, sometimes a bomb gets dropped that gasses the place out, that's just the nature of owning a cat. This litter has the least offensive smell and does a really good job of covering the poop smell if your cat covers it.The only thing that may be annoying for some people (and this is something has happens with a lot of litters) is that when my cat does a big wee, it will form a clump on the bottom of the litter tray which is a bit wet and requires you scrape the clump off the bottom of the tray, so sometimes the wet litter will get stuck in the scoop holes. but it's easy enough to wipe with a dettol wipe. Will probably keep buying this forever

I’ll start with the good. This litter really does clump! I was shocked at how well it clumped and the easy clean up as a result. Now the bad, This litter smells terrible and the cats don’t like it either! There is a distinct Vanilla scent which is not listed on the packaging as far as I can see, I wouldn’t have bought it otherwise. It gets worse when the cats urine and faeces mix with this vanilla scented litter, the smell is absolutely horrific and can be smelled throughout the house, cleaning these trays out warrants a mask, it truly is that horrible. For the first time, my cats have been looking to toilet elsewhere and I haven’t even fully changed over yet, the litter trays still have half of the previous litter in them. This litter doesn’t live up to its ... MoreI’ll start with the good. We used to use the Trouble and Trix clay litter with the baking soda, and loved how much it covered all the smells. But I REALLY hated how much dust it let out (my laundry would be covered in fine grey dust every few days) and it tracked everywhere. Literally found some at the other end of the house. So after a few years, I wanted to explore other options. After trying wood litter (total disaster, tracked even worse than clay, terrible at clumping) I turned to these pellets. I slowly started adding them to their clay litter. The cats didn't really like the texture at first- they gingerly would walk into their tray and just stand there. There was a lot of uncovered business happening in the beginning. There was a lot of uncovered business happening in the beginning. But eventually they got used to it, and we only use pellets now. My cats still fling them about like crazy, so there are some pellets on the floor every day, but they don't track them through the house anymore. And most happily for me, no more dust problems! They aren't quite as good in the odor control department as clay, but still live up to my fussy standard. The pellets are super noisy when being flung against the plastic side of the tray, so be warned!
I've been using this natural product for many years. LESS ODOUR. It's safe for the cats and way better than other clumping products. It definitely clumps and is flushable down the toilet (massive bonus points for this). Less dust flying around and settling on other items in your room and way less dust breathed in by your cat (the most important point). My boys did not hesitate to use it when changing to this new brand.
We switched to this litter a few years back and it?s great. Being able to flush chunks of it makes quick clean-ups throughout the day super easy cause we don't always have to get out a bag. I love that's it's biodegradable. We live in a small apartment and don't have any issues with smell. The litter pellets track a little into the house but because of their size and colour they're actually easier to see and pickup than the grey gravel we were using previously that would kinda blend in with the floor.
I switched to this years ago after reading about "sodium bentonite" dangers. I was surprised to read some of the other reviews but smell reactions are different for everyone. It has a faint smell of the product when you are right there but the big thing for me is it's ability to hide the urine smell and it's awesome clumping skill. I clean the litter everyday, sometimes twice a day and it flushes very well, sometimes you have to cut it up with the scoop or leave it soak for a bit in the loo (5 mins will do and just put less in there, all depends on the cat peeing frequency really. I have two cats and two boxes and it isn't a hassle). One bag lasts about 1 month (approx), there is a bit of dust but again, less than other clumping litters I have used. It even has a handle on the bag to carry to the laundry and help you pour into the litter box. It is very good at letting you know when it is time to replace the lot, you can't miss it. Whereas others that don't hide the smell so well make it harder to judge when a full new pour is needed. In other words it might be a bit more expensive but you could end up saving more in the long run.
I have a lot of cats to care for in my house as I own three, I long term foster, and I board. Currently 11 in the house. This litter is hands down the best around for a number of reasons: It clumps perfectly, it doesn't track as much as others, it heavily reduces odours, it has very little powdery residue and dust, it is light in colour so you can easily see if your cats waste has blood or discolouration, it is compostable so goes in our FOGO bin, and it is soft under sensitive indoor cat feet. In my many years working with cats Ive tried all brands but this particular litter beats all.
The lavender scented litter never gives off any nasty odours. Every day or two I spend a minute or so removing the clumped pees and poos using a rubber glove, though you could use a scoop. The delivery system is great, because it's very prompt and I get the benefit of having the discount for a regular order, but can push the date back or forward, as necessary. I have a separate regular order for ordinary Royal Canin dry food plus RC oral dry, which is great for the cat's teeth. I plan to set up another regular order for medical: dewormer plus tick collar. My cat loves Pet Circle!!!
I'd been using Breeders Choice for years...and hadn't had success with clumping because all the peed on crumbs that fell off the clumps that really didn't solve the problem with the stink. This stuff - smallish granules that are nicer for the cats to scratch around in, and when they pee, it actually dissolves the granules into a sort of brick, so you can get more thorough clumping. And therefore, less stink! The cherry smell is very subtle...I have a top entry litter box for context.
