BEST litter I have ever used!

I have 45 cats, and I have tried most litters and typically now just use paper litter which is completely changed over twice weekly. I was recommended this by my vet, I decided to use it in two large litter boxes. It is so easy to scoop daily, and it has been over 4 weeks of use now without it smelling one bit. I have topped both boxes up once in that time. The price works out amazing given how long it lasts for, so now I am using it in other litter boxes. So happy with this product and I have never been completely happy with any litter previously until this one!

Best product I’ve used as a kitty litter

So to be honest I had never heard of this product until I picked up a rescue cat and I was given a bag of this together with food and stuff. So straight away I liked the smell and I’ve had this rescue cat for just under a year now and I’ve used 2 1/2 bags only. And that’s because it clumps so well it’s easy to get the litter out. . Then you are left with perfectly clean kitty litter. I’ve washed the kitty litter container out once only. It does not smell the cat seems to enjoy using it no problems, and it’s just so convenient and honestly the best litter I’ve ever used and I’ve had cats for over 40 years.

Clumps brilliantly, smells awful!

I’ll start with the good. This litter really does clump! I was shocked at how well it clumped and the easy clean up as a result. Now the bad, This litter smells terrible and the cats don’t like it either! There is a distinct Vanilla scent which is not listed on the packaging as far as I can see, I wouldn’t have bought it otherwise. It gets worse when the cats urine and faeces mix with this vanilla scented litter, the smell is absolutely horrific and can be smelled throughout the house, cleaning these trays out warrants a mask, it truly is that horrible. For the first time, my cats have been looking to toilet elsewhere and I haven’t even fully changed over yet, the litter trays still have half of the previous litter in them. This litter doesn’t live up to its ... MoreI’ll start with the good. Great Clumping flushable litter
28 December 2023

I switched to this years ago after reading about "sodium bentonite" dangers. I was surprised to read some of the other reviews but smell reactions are different for everyone. It has a faint smell of the product when you are right there but the big thing for me is it's ability to hide the urine smell and it's awesome clumping skill. I clean the litter everyday, sometimes twice a day and it flushes very well, sometimes you have to cut it up with the scoop or leave it soak for a bit in the loo (5 mins will do and just put less in there, all depends on the cat peeing frequency really. I have two cats and two boxes and it isn't a hassle). One bag lasts about 1 month (approx), there is a bit of dust but again, less than other clumping litters I have used. It even has a handle on the bag to carry to the laundry and help you pour into the litter box. It is very good at letting you know when it is time to replace the lot, you can't miss it. Whereas others that don't hide the smell so well make it harder to judge when a full new pour is needed. In other words it might be a bit more expensive but you could end up saving more in the long run.

Great smelling cat litter
9 December 2024

Have used many litters in the past but have found this to be the best. Doesn’t leave a lingering cat wee odor and a little goes a long way. You literally scoop out the littered that has clumped together and top it up with fresh litter. So much better than the paper alternative and better for the environment than crystals. Pet Circle are also great for delivery - we usually get products delivered to our doorstep within 2 working days!

Never ever buy this product
22 November 2024

This is the worst litter product you can buy and we have ever used. When it gets wet it goes to a glue like paste and it takes 3 times as long to get off the littler trays. Its stinks and goes everywhere. We keep on the second tray tonstop that and use another lottler on top. The cats started using the floor instead. It been 4 weeks can't wait until its gone. We moved away from the wood pelts because it had changed. It's nothing compared to this. We are going back.

The BEST
26 July 2024

I have a lot of cats to care for in my house as I own three, I long term foster, and I board. Currently 11 in the house. This litter is hands down the best around for a number of reasons: It clumps perfectly, it doesn't track as much as others, it heavily reduces odours, it has very little powdery residue and dust, it is light in colour so you can easily see if your cats waste has blood or discolouration, it is compostable so goes in our FOGO bin, and it is soft under sensitive indoor cat feet. In my many years working with cats Ive tried all brands but this particular litter beats all.

Trouble & Trix Lavender Cat Litter 15L

'This is by far the best cat litter we've ever used. If you're on the fence because of the price just do it, it's actually a game changer. I've never had a litter that really truly does block the smell, like 100% of the smell. It also clumps extremely well and the clumps don't break easily like other litters we've tried, and because the non-soiled litter is so small it passes straight through the seive scooper we use so you don't have to sit there shaking it for 20 seconds after every scoop. Best of all our cats seem to really like it, they both started using it happily straight away and we've noticed it seems they actually cover their business more with it, helping the odour get blocked further. The only downside I can think of is that it seems to track slightly more than the tofu pellet style litter we used previously, but once we put a litter mat down the problem is mostly mitigated and isn't enough of an issue to bring down the 5-star rating I'm giving this. Will definitely be buying again. '

Won't use anything else

There's always tracking with any litter, but it's very minimal with these pellets. It can get dusty however so I just make sure not to pour any of the powder into the box. It clumps very well as long as you give it a minute or two to harden. If you scoop immediately afterwards then obviously you get a gooey mess, but this is the way with most litters so it doesn't bother me. There's no smell to the pellets themselves and if your cat does a good job burying their business, it covers any smell that comes out of them as well. I would recommend this product.

Worst cat litter ever
15 October 2024

I brought this as wanted a product that actually works as claimed on their packaging for odour control and clumps together. All reviews were good so I purchased it and I must say it is the WORST litter I’ve purchased. It does slightly clump together but sticks to the side walls of the rotating litter box which then causes the machine to jam. It does not control any odour at all, if anything it makes the smell worse. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement I’m angry especially since it was not cheap to purchase either. Also it creates a lot of dust which was flaring up my asthma.
