Its a bit arrogant of me to review this product, because Im not a tea expert, and this tea does deserve a certain degree of knowledge to comment upon it, and besides I dont drink it BUT She Who Would Be Obeyed does, and she loves it. Black no sugar I rest my case. My only comments are that price wise it compares very favourably with the big supermarkets and more its delivered to your door. Its worth considering buying this way because its not always available at some stores.

My best pick overall for this brand. Earl Grey has a distict flavor that is bold and smooth. Best with milk and sugar but also honey. Artificial sweeteners do slightly alter the taste but for those that use them you will also enjoy this tea as well.

I recently started using loose leaf tea and I love it. I like a stronger cup of tea than most people prefer.I would always use 2 tea bags so,it just made sense. Earl grey is by far my favorite, just breathing in the aroma lifts my spirits and the flavor is amazing..I spend a lot of money on tea..I have way to much tea..

Aromatic! Love making London Flog with Twinings Earl Grey
22 November 2021

Twingings's tea are always good for its price and quality. I love Twinings' loose tea more than tea bags as they're more aromatic.Quantity is large, love brewing a strong earl grey tea and add milk into it.However, Twinings is actually using bergamot flavouring rather than real bergamot oil, it wound be perfect if it's real bergamot. Very satisfied anyway :)

Earl Grey Loose Tea Caddy - 500g Loose Tea
22 July 2020

I tend to alternate between Earl Grey and English Breakteast, so now have two nice big metal caddies, clearly labelled, and a delight to handle. Nice tea - hot or ice cold, so a good, classic all-purpose choice for the summer months, even in Scotland. I bought the 500gm largely because I wanted the caddie - I'll top it up with smaller packets of loose tea when I eventually empty it. Like the tin, it handles well, stores well. Very happy with my purchase.

Lacks Earl Grey taste or aroma
22 March 2022

Recently bought the Earl Grey and Lady Grey teas. Both lack aroma and flavour associated with these teas. The tea itself is very drinkable, hence the two stars but it didn't meet expectations I was disappointed, and in a recent order swapped to the M&S alternatives which for my taste are much better

The blend has changed...
13 September 2023

I have been drinking Twinings Earl Grey for a very long time, and a lot of it. Recently I've found the tea is stronger, a lot less delicate, tasting much more of straight black tea than previously. I can only assume that Twinings has changed the blend to save costs/keep the price low, but it's harsh and unpleasant now and I'll have to change brands if it continues.
