Beautiful scent, it's like a bouquet of wild flowers on a sunny spring day. It's a huge floral scent with a hint of refreshing bergamot layered with subtle earthy scent from the patchouli. Top note bergamot Middle iris and bulgarian rose Base leather vanilla and patchouli The vanilla is very subtle it just helps mellow down the patchouli i think Longevity is pretty strong, dries down into warm scent very elegant

I am extremely impressed with the perfume. It comes in a very pretty neon yellow/green box but the real catch is how beautiful the perfume itself looks. It's in a glass bottle which will look gorgeous in any bathroom or bedroom. The smell lasts all day, and it's floral. (reminds me of Gardenias a bit) with a slight musk to it. I would definitely recommend on a night out, to work, or just to feel a bit fancy on a daily. From fragrantica: Top notes are Bergamot and Grapefruit; middle notes are Iris, Bulgarian Rose and Praline; base notes are Leather, Vanilla and Patchouli. This is a beautiful scent! The bottle is so stunning and luxurious! It starts as light and airy sweet floral, then dries down to a sort of powdery sweet rosy vanilla. Rating 4 starts because I am not a fan of patchouli, but this one is okay for me, it’s not too strong and blends very well with the rest of the notes. Valentino luxury!

Alluring

The opening is a dusty sweet floral scent, drying down to a discreet yet still noticeably soft, warm scent.This fragrance is very alluring. Though it’s not exactly unique, something about it keeps drawing me to it. It’s feminine, bright and inoffensive. “Donna” is what you’d wear to meet the parents, when attending a wedding, or even staying at home/going to bed.This is a safe buy for those who like: sweet, floral, elegant perfumes.It’s not too juvenile and not too mature either.

My favourite fragrance

Valentino Donna EDP is such a pretty fragrance to wear. It is sophisticated and you feel elegant and feminine each time you wear it. You are always guaranteed compliments when you wear it. I carry it with me and happily loan a spray to those who notice it. I would highly recommend this fragrance it’s classy.

Not my favourite smell on me

I wanted this for so long after smelling a tester a year before. It’s a beautiful perfume. The bottle is gorgeous and looks fab. There’s just something about it, I don’t like the smell on me which is so disappointing. Don’t allow that to put you off, it might be something to do with my skin. I just want to give a really honest review. Maybe try a tester first

The Best Valentino

This is Valentino’s original ”Donna” fragrance — my favorite and my sweetheart’s favorite too. Alas, it is very hard to find. There are lots of Donna offshoots, but none as gently long lasting as this lovely one. I hear “What are you wearing?” compliments hours after spraying it on. I sure wish Valentino would keep the original in production.

I have been using this fragrance for years, and it’s become my holy grail. It’s a long lasting fragrance, I still smell it on my skin after a shower!! It’s floral but not rosey. It’s sophisticated and grown up! Always get complements when I wear it. I actually prefer this Donna fragrance to the other Valentino Donna born in Roma ones. They seem too juvenile for me and not as long lasting.
