The Skate Half Cab features DURACAP reinforced underlays and a redesigned upper with two-part foxing tape and deeper knurl pattern on the toe to deliver maximum durability. For improved board control, the shoe includes a molded heel counter and internal tongue straps that lock feet in. Vans' famed gum rubber sole has been updated with SICKSTICK rubber for extra grip and boardfeel. POPCUSH sockliners cushion and reduce leg fatigue, while internal heel stiffeners add support.
