I have been a fan of half cab for years. These ones have the new soles that take getting used to for a couple of days then they are great.

I have been a fan of half cab for years. These ones have the new soles that take getting used to for a couple of days then they are great.
I love that the ankle support is halfway between a low cut (that my foot wants to slip out of) and a high top (that is a major pain to tie). These shoes need to be unlaced when taking on and off but with minimal hassle and the security it isn't coming off.
I bought this shoes for my daily 6km walks and skating (when it's not raining). They are amazing so far!
The soles started to fall apart The first day I was wearing my new pair.I was wearing them indoors, just breaking them in. I realized the toe was peeling away after only an hour of light walking around the shop.I had intended to skate these shoes, very disappointed.
Super comfy daily shoes. I love all the updates since my last Half Cabs. Definitely my favourite shoes to wear.
These shoes are super cute and the look you are probably looking for if you like them. But be warned! They’re super insulated and cushy… so you might want to get a half size up. I wished that I had and I’m too lazy to return them. Super snug fit cuz it’s got an inch or so of cushion on the top and sides.
I've skated Half Cabs exclusively for several years now. I rotate a chill pair that becomes my skate pair when they work in. Just after I went to them a few years back, they changed them up. Not as good as the ones they'd had for years and years (now stiffer), but still workable. These new ones are SO tight I could never wear them, and they don't stretch well because Vans wanted to save a few nickels so they replaced some suede with canvas. So sad. You ruined my forever shoe.Way to go Vans, you "fixed" something that wasn't broken. Twice, and the second time made it literally impossible for me to continue wearing them. Way, WAY too narrow.
The size is too small. from the inside its tight. I recommend ordering a bigger size.
