It charges at the maximum current of 17A, up to the point of 80% capacity, then drops the voltage down to limit the current until full charge is achieved, minimising over charging. The "Charging Graph" tells you nothing and is just for show. It records lots of data, but it cannot be attributed to a specific battery, only to the charger. I really like this charger. It is fully configurable and it is easy to monitor what's going on and view charge history on your phone or computer using Bluetooth. I have it permanently mounted in my camper van and use it when solar is not producing sufficient output. It charges my 200 ah LIFEPO4 battery very predictably and then goes into maintenance mode keeping the battery full but providing output for power consumers such as the fridge. The charger does not have a fan which I suppose would prevent IP67 certification. So, that's nice but it also does run very hot when actively charging. I have mounted it in a well ventilated spot yet it gets hot to the touch. It's not a real problem to me if it does not affect longevity. IP67 or not?

IP67 means immersion in water to a depth of 1m for 30 mins. In the box it says in big letters "FOR INDOOR USE ONLY" To my mind, the two are contradictory. Other than that, it looks well built & works fine. It may deserve more than 3 stars, but I'm now worried, despite the IP67 rating, that I should not get it wet.

Smart Blue Charger

I'm new to Victron. I bought the charger for use in my 4x4 for those few occasions when the 200Ah LiFePo battery might need to be resuscitated. The charger arrived in great condition - well packed but not over-protected with plastic. I'm techno-neanderthal yet found the Victron App easy to use and pairing was a breeze. So simple my list of curses reserved especially for the e-world turned to appreciation. Fitting is straightforward. Overall - a great experience.

Smart Charger of Lithium Ion Battery

I have charged up my new Lithium Ion battery with this charger. Also have investigated the various settings. Discovered that the charger could be used on AGM batteries. Charged up AGM batteries and checked the voltage with meter. Satisfied that the device delivera on all of its claimed features.

This helps to reduce the build up of carbon deposits within the intake system, helping to maintain engine performance. A must-buy modification for direct injection engines! Well, I just wanted to give my opinion. I made the normal purchase like any other customer. A few days later I had a problem. I had to make an important trip. Contact ml performance by email to say that the contact service via email is spectacular. I never had a service like that with another store. well I told them that I needed the super urgent material. and well after a great job of coordination and good work from ml performance I received the material and everything went perfect. I must say i am thoroughly impressed with how this company does business. I had the wrong item turn up, contacted ML Performance and within 15 minutes they had sorted a replacement item to be sent out the very next day and the return was done via the courier driver. The new item turned up, exactly what was ordered, got it fitted and it looks and performs sweet.
