Volcom L GORE-TEX jacket is a great basic snowboarding jacket offering from Volcom. Compared to other offering from different makers, this jacket is not basic at all as it comes with all the cool features you would expect from Volcom.This is definitely the best option from Volcom for someone who wants the basic functionality without spending the extra money for the extra features. The materials feel good and durable.I wish it had the hand gaiters that you can find in most snowboarding jackets nowadays. For whatever reason there is an overlapping pattern of fabric at the back that makes it feel like a leftover material. The cut of this jacket also makes it look even more basic with no drop tail.#sweepstakes

Love this jacket. The two things I would change are the hood drawcords are hard to access when all zipped up, but easy to figure out. Just inconvenient being on the inside of the jacket. Second, give me some hand gaiters in the sleeve (removable would be even cooler). Those help keep snow out of sleeves widen using under gloves. GoreTex is on point (always), comfortable but not too ?flappy? at high speed because it fits well, loose but not bulky. Zippers are easy to use with gloves and the ZipTech is amazing when paired with ZipTech pants. Keeps the cold out!

The set is legit! As soon as I saw it available I ordered it. Love the zip together feature and the way the seems and zippers are super flush and streamline. It makes a clean look. The Gore-Tex is a must and Volcom no less...The price on evo was unbeatable as always. Why shop anywhere else for snowboard gear?
Volcom's L GTX Jacket is the perfect snow gear for the mountains! The fit is true and as described - went with small as I am 5'9" and ~160 lbs. Love the way it fits which works seamlessly with Volcom Freakin Gore Chino Pants. Love how the L GTX keeps you warm on hill yet is super breathable with the breathable mesh and zippered pit zips. Also appreciate the number of zippered pockets, including a one for the mountain pass and another for your smartphone. The material and quality are great with the Gore-Tex construction and love the extra storage for goggles and other small items. Perfect as an outer layer and super easy to add additional layers when needed. Highly recommend Volcom for the mountains!
I really wanted to like these, as they have all the features I need at a great price. However, they were too tight around the hips/waist area and I had to return them, I couldn't even bend over to get to my boots/bindings. I'm 5'8" 175lbs, athletic build, the medium did not fit. Large likely would have been too big (I already own a Large Volcom jacket), which I don't like because it lets more cold air in when you're not wearing many layers underneath. Just wanted to leave this review so someone else doesn't have to order and return like I did.
Rode yesterday and was able to test out this jacket (along with the Rain Gore Tex bibs). For this being a 2L Gore Tex jacket, and how much is paid, seriously a great performer! Love the look and feel of it……could hear wind, but not really feel wind! I’m 6’3” with a lanky long torso….the XL fits me perfect, with still a little generous length. Volcom for the win!
I've only worn this around town and in a downpour or two so far, but I'm really liking it. True to fit, a bit roomy and the sleeves are kind of long, although that's what I was looking for in a jacket-something roomy enough for layers underneath for shred days. Lots of fantastic features including pow skirt, great pockets, helmet-compatible hood, pass pocket, you get the idea. Looking forward to putting this jacket through its paces.

He can access the secure zippered chest pocket when the jacket is fully zipped up. It is located on the inside of the zipper flap, but outside of the zipper itself. Very clever.The back of the jacket has a pieced together fabric design that adds interest and out of the ordinary style to elevate the solid color jacket. I also like the brightness of the red - there was not a comparable red in the Women’s line up. I’ve long admired Volcom. The Brand understands the winning features required to make a comfortable day on the slopes. There are so many features to love about this Volcom jacket. The hardware (zips and snaps) are excellent quality. Bottom up / top down front zip allows for added ventilation and movement. Such a great feature. The long underarm vent zips - a must as temperatures change over the course of the day. I’m also a big fan of all the deep pockets and their zip closures to help keep your day organized.
