The Voluspa French Cade Lavender large glass candle from the Japonica collection is more than just a candle. It is a beautiful decorative piece, that is artistic as well as useful. The embossed glass jar has same print as the colorful metal lid. Some other things that I like best about it, besides its beauty, is that it is hand poured in the United States, and has natural wicks. The candle is free of chemicals like sulfates, phlalates, pesticides and parabens. It is clean burning and made of a coconut wax blend. The large candle is a generous 18 oz and last for a long time. There is something so relaxing about its lavender and woodsy aroma. Be sure to trim the wick to 1/4” each time you burn it to get the maximum burn time. This is one of my favorites.

This is the Voluspa Japonica French Cade and lavender glass candle and they are sold at a few different places, I get mine from Sephora and Bloomingdale’s. This is a lovely scent of citrus and woods. The strongest notes are French Cade Wood, Verbena, Bulgarian Lavender. These have a long, clean burn. I can best describe it as clean and fresh, lightweight. It isn’t overwhelming and doesn’t cause me any headache. I have sensitivity to strong scents and can get headaches from fragrance, I didn’t have an issue with this one. Other scents from the brand are stronger and fill the room more than this.

I purchased the Voluspa japonica French cade and lavender large glass candle. It smells so good. Its one of my favorite candles now. It such a luxurious scent that smells strong enough for me to enjoy it but not so strong that it's overwhelming. My husband usually doesn't say a word about my candles he could care less, but he even made a comment about the smell. I bought 2 more so we can enjoy them for a long time. I will repurpose the glass container once it’s finished. Of course, the price tag isn’t the best especially for a simple candle but this candle is a luxury not a need. I highly recommend Voluspa candles. They are high quality and are a nice touch to any home space.

I recently was gifted thìa beautiful glass candle by a good friend of mine. I normally use yankee candle at home, but got hooked on this beautiful elegance smell of this candle when I visit my friend house, so I am in love with it. It last you forever and did not leave any burning chemicals when you stopped it. They leave your house the light Aroma sense that not so overwhelming and helping you to relax. So disappointed! My candle wick is crooked and is burning with a tunnel. Additionally, there almost zero smell to this one. Before the company responds with their standard response that I keep seeing on everyone’s reviews, here’s what I’ll say:- Yes I burned the candle across the entire top to allow the wax to settle evenly- Yes I trimmed the wick before burning- Yes I kept the candle away from drafts and fans- Yes I know that the candle placement matters, especially when it comes to room size, ceiling height, corners, etc.- I bought two other large candles with this order and both burned perfectly even but also had little throw- Yes I know that everyone loves specific scents, and I already know how much I love this oneThe formula for Voluspa candles has ... MoreSo disappointed! The scents are absolutely beautiful but they are diluted. I’ve been buying the Lavender Cade candle for years and it always used to fill the room. It just doesn’t do it anymore.I wrote to customer service because I’d like a replacement candle, so I hope to somehow have a better experience with that one.
