Overall the vapormax shoe is a nice fit. I love how it grips your feet to make it seem light while wearing them. Unfortunately , this specific model was bigger than the first vapormax. I bought the size in women's 7.5 in both shoes (VM1 and VM2) and when compared ,they were inconsistent to size. The color was also not what it seemed to be as advertised here and I am disappointed that its actually a very bright neon orange color. The color I hoped for was more like a pink grapefruit-ish, pink-ish color. I will be returning ASAP.

I purchased the glacier blue from Dicks Sporting Goods. I wish the blue was a bit lighter/translucent since it looks more like baby blue. Other than the color, I really like the shoe. I will admit that it took me 20 minutes to get used to it. I almost gave up because my feet hurt so much. If you have high arches or a wide foot, this shoe will be way too uncomfortable. The shoe snuggles around your feet tightly. Well after 20 minutes of running, my foot adjusted to the new shoe and now I love running in them. I will purchase another pair. The only other complaint that I have is the shoe strings tend to come loose quite often. Oh one other item, the size of the shoe runs long.

I bought these on a whim when Nike announced them via email a few weeks ago. I am mostly in the gym for HIIT and my previous kicks were Metcon flyknit in a size 8. I’m a 7.5aa in shoes, and they were only slightly wide for me. The new Metcon dsx arrrived and they were huge in an 8. As were the Metcon 4s.SO I ordered these in a 7.5 and they are the best sneakers I’ve ever owned. Comfortable for indoor sprinting, extra bounce for box jumps, fit like a glove. I LOVE them. My feet are narrow and hard to fit and these are perfection. I’ve never spent this kind of money on athletic shoes, but I’m so glad I did this time.

Nike is definitely my favorite brand when it comes to a reliable shoe. I generally buy Air Max for fashion purposes, but I looked into the VaporMax with the hopes of finding something comfortable for work. & I can honestly say that these exceeded my expectations. They are THE MOST comfortable shoe I’ve ever purchased! I have a wide foot & typically wear a 8.5, which is what size I decided to go with for these. I was nervous about the fit because they were a little snug when I first put them on, but throughout the day they seemed to form to the shape of my foot. They’re so lightweight yet supportive at the same time. Working in the medical field and being on my feet for 10-12+ hours a day definitely calls for a shoe that provides comfort and resilience, & these do ... I absolutely LOVE these sneakers. The are by far the BEST sneakers I have ever owned in my 53 years on this earth. I am a huge sneakers lover and have over 60 plus pairs of different brands of sneakers, most high dollar, but high dollar does not matter unless the sneaker itself is HIGH QUALITY and this one is TOP NOTCH.I have wide FLAT feet size 11 in Women's with severe Arthritis in both feet and ankles, but walking with these sneakers on is like walking on a CLOUD and they form around my feet like a glove and feel so AWESOME!Thank NIKE for coming out with the best SNEAKER EVER~~Now the task is DON'T change them :)
I have the black Nike Vapormax shoes. I love the design, color, laces, snug fit, and stretch material around ankle. These are very comfortable and lightweight! Sometimes I feel bogged down wearing other shoes, but not with these. These are a must-buy, if you are looking for a comfort fit! Chill or run in these, literally, you will look good doing either.
My Wife never really talks about how much she likes a shoe. But the Vapormax was a different ballgame all together. She talked the comfort. She says it's the most comfortable shoe she's ever owned. We walked quite a bit the first time she wore them. Most shoes you have to break in but not the Vapormax. Because of its great design and comfort, not a peep. She smiled all the way. She just kept taking foot selfies! Lol. As soon as the University red becomes available I plan to get her those as well. Great job Nike
Gee... not sure why these shoes have not been a hit with other people. I am over the moon for them. I can speed walk till I drop without any left-over pain. I no longer run after jumping horses English style. Have had two discs replaced. These shoes have set me free. Thrilled that others do not like. More for me! Have six pairs in different colors.
I was looking at retiring my trusty Asics after nearly 300 trail miles, and had decided to switch back to my trusty Nike Airs since I didn't need to wear superfeet insoles with those, but needed to with the Asics. However, my Nike Run Club app showed me a timely advertisement for the Vapormax, and I was very intrigued, and as a result, I was now indecisive. I had decided to break out my Free RN natural that I bought only for treadmill running, for my afternoon 4 mile pavement run (until I decided on Air Max or VaporMax). After 3 unbearable, shin splinty miles, I limped home. The very next day I went to the only store in town with the VaporMax, knowing how well my Nike Airs treated me, and decided to take the plunge. Not only were they incredibly attractive, but I couldn't wait to run in them, even though my shins told me that I should probably hold off. I did manage to talk myself into a 2 mile walk around the neighborhood, rather than stay home. When i hit the bottom of the steps and put my earbuds in my ear, it was like my legs took over, and decided they were going for a run - despite the soreness in my calfs. Now, let me tell you...When I hit that first high impact step in the Vapormax, the shoe was not only forgiving, but sprang into action. My shin splints had all but DISAPPEARED. I proceeded to run 2 nearly painless 11 minute miles in the hills of Pittsburgh with little pain or effort. The next morning, my calves felt completely normal.
I have several lower leg issues due to soccer and I loved the look of these shoes. Nike is notorious for making shoes that are too narrow, ESPECIALLY CLEATS, so I was very much hesitant about buying these. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only does the Flyknit handle my wider feet well, but it feels perfect. I also stand a lot and find these are probably the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn. During the light runs I’ve done in these, they really cushion impact so its great for my arches and shins. GG Nike.PS: People compliment me a lot on these suckers haha. A co-worker went out and ordered the BHM edition!
