Was very excited to see a re-release of the Bondi 7, even if it's a limited time release. I've been wearing Bondi running shoes since 2017 on the advice of my foot surgeon. I love the fit and plush cushioning. I would love to see an original Bondi design be available always, the new design of the Bondi & Clifton do not fit my foot as well and aren't nearly as comfortable they are both too wide and the Bondi 8 does not fit true to size like past designs. . For that matter please reach back in to the archives and bring back the Akasa & Tivra. There are a lot of us non runners out there who where Hoka on advice of doctors, want a really comfortable shoe or just a fun one. But some of the new redesigns are not suitable for everyday wear. I myself have a stock pile of Hokas to fit my outfit and mood. Definitely recommend the Bondi 7 over the 8

I am so happy the bondi 7 came back. I run ~20 miles a week for the last 5-ish years and the first few years I had burned through a few Bondi 7s getting 400 miles in them easy. They were the perfect everyday running shoe, I absolutely love them and told everyone about it. Cushioning without being too soft, firm but not too hard, not too heavy, good rocker to pick up if needed. When the bondi 8 came out, I was excited for the newest model of my favorite shoe. However, the bondi 8 was just not as good. There was no rocker, the roll fell flat at the forefoot and after 50 miles they felt super flat and lost the cushion. It almost felt like they used a completely different foam for the sole, a cheap generic one too. I couldn't even get myself to run 250 miles in them. I ... MoreI am so happy the bondi 7 came back. I essentially became a trail runner instead of a road runner because of the Bondi 8. Now the 7s are back!!! If you keep making them, I'll keep buying them!

I'm careful but regard them as unsafe on stairs or steps. Good for walking otherwise. Good variety of colors. Splayed sole is stable though unattractive, which doesn't matter if everything else is okay (husband calls them Daisy Duck shoes). Protruding heel is a deal-breaker though. Won't buy them again.Final take: Though I miss the plusher comfort of the originals, these are good too. Expensive but worth it. I ordered another pair today.

I may be mixing my metaphorical fairytale ladies, but after trying nearly a half dozen styles of Hokas - determined to get the perfect shoe - this is the one that fits just right! It has just the right amount of cushion and support! Not too firm, not too marshmallowy. Not too wide (like the Gaviota 5), not too narrow (Clifton 9). Juuuuust right!I can see why they are now *completely sold out* after what I think was less than 2 wks of being released. WOW! A testament to a truly great product - sold out! I went back to order another pair & they're not available. I signed up to be notified when "the next drop" hits. < 3Thank you, Hoka!I will say I have wide feet - like Birkis feel normal to me, wide. And these fit me great. They may be ever so slightly longer ... I am keeping the pink and the black pair I got & will order more when they're available.
I originally purchased the Bondi 8 but, the sizing was completely off with that sneaker. I ordered two different sizes, one was too big and then the other was too tight in the toe box. As a backup I ordered this sneaker. I like it, I'm not in love with it. The color selection was very minimal because it is a limited edition of this particular style. I decided to keep it because it is a very comfortable walking sneaker. The tongue does stay in place although the shoelaces are a bit on the cheaper side in terms of material. The sole feels much better than my original Clifton 3 sneakers which, were my original purchases years ago. I probably would suggest that if you're going to put out a limited edition of a sneaker that worked very well with your customers, give more ... I liked the color I chose for the eighth generation but, did not have that same color selection with this one. I'm looking forward to shopping around for something that's similar to this particular design within the Hoka of family in the future.
In the oadt I enjoyed Nondi 7 on several colors. They were a great shoe all around for my troublesome lower back and feet. When the shoe changed I had to buy the new model Bondi. These, I found out after wearing them some, were not good for my back and feet. Also, the quality of them, eyelets, around the top of the ankle foot bed and inside toe area, etc were of the Hoka quality and wear that I've paid for in the past as in the Bondi 7's. But because I wore them I couldn't return them. And after numerous reviews on the Bondi 8s I found many people displeased with the manufacturer's changes in the model they made with the Bondi 8s. So, you could imagine and with others how excited we were to see that Joka brought back the Nondi 7 model. I ordered 2 asap! But I have a ... MoreIn the oadt I enjoyed Nondi 7 on several colors. PKEASE MAKE THE BLACK AND WHITE BONDI 7. P.L.E.A.S.E.:) I wear practically and most days because of my back feet, etc. So, I always buy the colors that are mist versatile and then other colors. The grey and nlack and white are the BEST colors that suit this. Solid black is okay. But for me is too much like a work shoe and I'm an active retired gal and it's too much black (all black;) for my daily casual active wear.Thank you so much for giving me an opportunity to be heard by customer care. I know how important it is for good feedback regarding your products and I know this company cares and listens :).Best regards!
I've worn the Bondi 7 for many years. when it was no longer made, I struggled to find a replacement. First I scoured the internet for any leftovers in my size, because no other Hokas were similar enough. Then I tried other brands. After wearing another brand, that looked very similar to the Bondi 7, for 3 days, I developed pain in my left foot. I tore a ligament in my foot just from walking with my usual stride. Then soon after, Limping around from that injury caused the miniscus in my left knee to tear. All this from not being able to wear Bondi 7. It's been a rough few months. I am thrilled you are making them again, and I literally don't know which shoes I could wear if you discontinue them. One thing that could be improved - the insert needs more support at the ... I have been an athlete my entire life, throughout most of which I insisted on wearing Chuck Taylor's. I still love them, but not for sports. Being a women's size 10 1/2, I often crammed my feet into size 10 cute shoes because the sizes didn't normally go any bigger. Then I got into yoga and martial arts, both of which allowed to practice blissfully barefoot, and my feet spread accordingly. From years of foot abuse, i developed a Morton's Neuroma which I decided to ignore and play through the pain for nearly 15 years. Finally, I had it removed. I was warned there was a slight chance I would still experience pain in the third metatarsal space during activities. Lucky me, I was one of those in the small percentage. I was warned there was a slight chance I would still experience pain in the third metatarsal space during activities. Lucky me, I was one of those in the small percentage. Now I live in an adorable small city in the mountains of Mexico. We have cobblestone streets, uneven sidewalks, curbs ranging in height from 4 inches to two feet, and terrain ranging from almost flat to dirt-and-rock hiking. This all happens within one average day. I have tried various brands of sneakers, boots, hiking boots and shoes, and even athletic sandals to try to alleviate the pain in my right foot. Today I wore my brand new HOKAs for the first time. I did my normal walk/hike over various types of terrain. My feet did not hurt once. Not only did I feel very stable and safe in the sneakers, but that third metatarsal space didn't bother me even a little. I wasn't walking and thinking about where to get another cortisone shot. As soon as I got home, I ordered another pair in a different style. Although the fee I am forced to pay for the mailing service to bring these beauties over the border makes these close to the most expensive shoes I've ever bought, they're worth it. A day without foot pain. Imagine that. Es un milagro!
I guess mass production and cutting costs has changed the Hoka Bondi forever. I have worn Bondi for years but stopped with the Bondi 8. They are hard, rigid and narrow without the amazing Bondi cushion. I think Hoka realized that the Bondi 8 wasn't the same and brough back the "Bondi 7". I was elated. I bought 3 pair. My podiatrist told me to get Hokas due to a foot injury, that involved, torn ligaments, and broken bones on the bottom of my foot. Bondi 7 was the shoe recommended and sold to me by the store person. Never had I felt such delightful comfort and stability and no pain in my feet, knees, back, etc.! I was so happy! But when it was time for new shoes, there were no Bondi 7s! I had to go with Bondi 8 which have a hard sole inside, and is way bigger and clumsier. I have been tripping and falling a lot on the rubber soles that stick out at the ball on each side and at the heel on each side of the shoe and hurting my hip, my shoulder, my knees, my ankles. Please hurry with the next Bondi 7drop! I received email notification they were available and before I could get them ...
