This new Peregrine is pretty much as close to perfect as any trail shoe I've run in. The last Peregrine I had was the 11, and it was fine, if a little stiff and heavy. The 13 is so much lighter, the upper vastly improved, more flexible, and with more give in the forefoot. The cushioning is the revelation here - it feels so much more forgiving and better cushioned, while still having the gorgeous stability of the rock plate. The traction is improved with the new lug pattern, and it still has the terrific lockdown for super technical trails. I've been running in the Xodus Ultra, which I still love for half marathon and longer trail races due to the incredible comfort of the dual density sole, but this is now my absolute go to daily runner for training runs on the ... MoreThis new Peregrine is pretty much as close to perfect as any trail shoe I've run in. I got these for hiking, backpacking, and trail running. They are super comfy, grippy and very light. I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes, 8.5 for my road running shoes, got these in a 9 and they are a perfect fit for my use, but I’m glad I didn’t go smaller.

I absolutely have loved the Peregrine line from Saucony. Last year's version was pared down and I called them my forest slippers. The added cushion for the 13's are a game changer for me. I would only run about 10-13 miles in the 12's due to needed more underfoot as far as cushioning. I feel like now there's enough to tackle any distance. Can't beat the traction, and they dry quicker than other trail shoes I've had. I love how they fit in the heel, it gives a locked down sensation that I don't get with other brands without having to tie differently. Kudo's to Saucony for doing their homework and making positive improvements on the Peregrine.

I bought with the Assistance of Sarah through your online store. She was very helpful in helping me to find the right shoes. I walk an average of 35+ trail miles per week. The treads on the bottom make them stable and keep me from sliding on rocks and sticks. Would have given 5 starts I still have some pain in my foot that I feel will eventually go away with time. I normaly wear an 8 1/2 wide. I purchased a 9 medium which is comfortable. Very Happy with my purchase and
I like these shoes but had to add in a liner to provide proper arch support. I was looking fwd to the color being accurate like the website shows, but actual shoe color is more of a plum color vrs the warmer red shown on the website. I also got blisters on my heels wearing them the first time since they tend led to move around in my feet until I added the liner arch support.
Just received and the orange is not as bright as the picture. The orange is more of a pale peachy color. Will keep the shoes anyway because I hate returning stuff but not completely happy.
I got the wide version of these shoes and sized up to 9.5 and they were still way too narrow and not wide at all--and you can tell as soon as you open the box to the point I doublechecked these are wide. Toe went right to the end like a 9. The heel grip was way too tight and horrible, completely uncomfortable out of the box and blister creating for people with actual wide feet. Super disappointed...
These are my go to trail shoe. I wear these for all of my training runs as well as my trail races. They never disappoint.
I'm so happy that I found Saucony! I love this trail shoe. It's perfect for regular exercise walks, and performs great when I veer off-road. They seem very well designed and manufactured. Very comfortable and supportive in all the right ways. For me, these are far superior to other brands I've been wearing ie On Cloud, Brooks, Mizuno.
While the fit and comfort are great, the rubber design element is already separating from the upper material. I'd been waiting to order a new pair of walking shoes until after spring so they would not get "yucked up" looking from spring weather and instead they look like a cheap product. Sad to say after 20+ years of Saucony I may need to research other brands. :-(
