I snack on these every single day! At home, at work, in the car..I have always been a big sweets eater, sugary sweets. Then I'd gotten a terrible tooth infection! Was the worst pain I've ever been through I swear. It traumatized me and I wouldn't eat or drink anything with sugar in it for weeks after the infection was taken care of but I was having major sugar cravings and my boyfriends dad said, you need to find yourself a savory snack! Like for some people it's beef jerky and for him it's shelled pistachios..which he then offered me a bag to try and I was like thaaanks..but pistachios? 😠🙊lol But I am willing to try just about any food AR least once, so I ate some and omg instantly loved them! They have a perfect slight natural sweetness to them and they're ... MoreI snack on these every single day! At home, at work, in the car..I have always been a big sweets eater, sugary sweets. The Wonderful brand were the first I tried, I've tried others but Wonderful brand are the very best in my opinion. They aren't too hard to chew, like they are perfectly roasted and always taste fresh, never stale and old. Highly suggest! 😠😊🥰

Grabbing a bag of pre-shelled pistachios is like finding out your blind date is a supermodel - no hard work, just pure enjoyment. They taste like a three-course meal in flavor-town, and the absence of shells turns eating them into an express ride, not a scenic route. But here's the kicker: they disappear faster than my paycheck at a tools sale! One moment you're the King of Pistachio Castle, the next you're just holding an empty bag of dreams. Lowes' pistachios: a salty, sweet, and speedy road to snack-time heaven - just maybe consider a portion control warning label next time, guys.

I have recently (well, the past few months) got back into pistachios. I heard pistachios mentioned on a podcast I frequent called "What's Your Problem? With Nick Abbot and Carol McGiffin". Carol mentioned them a few podcasts ago and I thought to myself, "That's what I'm missing!" So, my previous few purchases have been the "East End Jumbo Salted Pistachios 250g", which, although I initially had no complaints with, after trying these "Wonderful Pistachios Roasted & Salted 220g", I now realise some of the negative comments of the East End ones were justified. They are rather inferior (not as fresh) compared to these Wonderful ones. What prompted me to purchase was the special offer which has now unfortunately ceased. The quality is easily recognised where each nut is easier to open, slightly larger and there are even a few nuts already out of their shell, which are a rapid chomp after I have poured a portion into a bowl. Incidentally, I have started to grab a teaspoon when having a bowl of pistachios now. You can use the end which you stir your tea with to help prise open any "not so open" shells. It definitely saves your nails. (The teaspoon was hardly required with these "Wonderful" pistachios compared to the East End ones.) The roasty saltiness paired with a cold soft drink is soooooooooo addictive. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Lol! One last bit, according to healthline.com they are: a great source of healthy fats, fiber, protein, antioxidants, and various nutrients, including vitamin B6 and thiamine. While their health effects may include weight loss benefits, lower cholesterol and blood sugar, and improved gut, eye, and blood vessel health. I'M SOLD!

Horrible tasting pistachios. I chose the shelled Wonderful brand over the Great Value figuring they would be better since I was familiar with POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice. But I was wrong. I bought a 12 oz bag and they tasted over roasted like the oil in the pistachios had burned. They had a bad taste. Even looking at the pistachios they appeared too dark and over cooked but I didn't know as I hadn't bought pistachios in a long time and I've never bought them shelled before. So tonight at Walmart I bought a 12 oz bag of shelled Great Value pistachios to compare. What a difference. These Great Value pistachios were delicious. Not over cooked. No weird burned oil appearance or taste. Fresh and delicious. Wonderful brand needs to find out who is messing up their pistachios. I won't ever buy that brand again. The Wonderful brand was $10.38 a bag and Great Value was $9.98. And a thousand times fresher tasting. I do not recommend Wonderful Pistachios to anyone. They actually had a rancid oil over done taste that stays on your tongue. Buy the Great Value brand. They are so good.
Based on the three bags I have purchased this week, I can't give more than a three star rating. The quality of the pistachios have been more and more disappointing. I have purchased dozens of bags before and have been mostly satisfied, as long as you have a nutcracker. Some of the pistachios do not taste the best. These last bags of pistachios are inedible. I have tried each package hoping the first one I opened was a fluke. They are are very small in size (tiny) and burned/dried out. Many empty shells. Very disappointed after multiple previous bags which were all good. Will try buying the smaller size bags in hopes that they are better quality. Thank you Target for making the process Super easy!
Pistachios have tradition been a real pain due to the shells. Sure 99% of then open with ease, but I am not eating these for a light snack- I am eating these for protein and don’t want a few, I want a few handfuls. Also, the 1% that are hard to open make one obsessive. I mist get into that shell- but for what a single nut? Walmart has solved this problem and used an army of robots to de-shell the pistachios for us. The light salted flavour remains on the nuts, and not the tips your fingers. The bag reseals- but I will be honest, I have not used it. Theoretically it should work. The nuts themselves taste as pistachios should- of course with the added salt.
Wonderful Pistachios are the best pistachios I have ever eaten. The shells are all opened and easy to pry. And they are never stale tasting. Other brands, and I have tried several, are not opened enough, so I have to use something else to pry them open. The lightly salted ones are my favoraite because they are perfectly seasoned. Not too much salt! Just the right amount! I buy these pistachios over and over again.
I've been buying these for years. I eat 2 to 3 bags a month. There was a time when they were fairly good. Since covid the quality has been dropping. There are more empty shells than before and most of the nuts aren't green. They are mostly yellow, brown, and black. I had to visually check each one before eating it. The last bag didn't have any real tasty ones in it . They were marginal to really nasty tasting. I gave up and threw half the bag away. I will NEVER buy this brand again.
Need a great snack or a filling dessert after a meal? Reach for these pistachios! They are very tasty with just the right amount of salt. Two handfuls of these pistachios make a perfect in-between snack. They fill you up so you don't reach for sugary donuts or cookies. And, above all, they are very healthy for you. Pistachios have protein, fiber, and antioxidants. As an added plus, the bag is easy to reseal to keep the pistachios from getting stale.
I bought these salt & pepper pistachios for my husband but it was a mistake; I didn't realize they weren't just salted. He's a critter of habit, so I was surprised when he agreed to try them. He plowed through the whole bag in 30 days, lol! He bought salted pistachios from the same brand when he ran out and said he doesn't like them anymore, he likes the salt & pepper ones better! I do too now. If you're generally a fan of salted in the shell pistachios and you aren't watching your sodium intake, definitely give this flavor a try.
