Not Paid, NO BS Review:My wife called me when I picked up the car after having the tyres changed from BFG's and she started discussing the usual family concerns... even with my mind on family... I IMMEDIATELY felt the difference in the tyres. They are like pillows to drive on. They are SO QUEIT I started hearing other sounds in my 150 series Prado!I have reversed a 1200kg camper trailer, in the rain, up a STEEP muddy incline.... AMAZED they did it! no slips, no hassles. The mind boggles how they do it, the tread looks like a simple design.... anyways... engineering and CFD I guess!I will not be buying any other brand. I dont see how any other A/T can be better.... and Yookohama give you 50,000km gaurantee. Win-Win

Needed an All Terrain tyre for a small lightweight truck that is driven on road mostly but is also used a lot on gated roads, verges and some off road in the dry mostly for hunting tasks and deer extraction.Choices really were Toyo AT+, Falken Wildpeak and the Geolandars. A friend has the Toyo and rates them but I live in a very hilly area and only the Falken and Yokohama were snow peak rated, so it came down to these two. The Yokohama were available in the exact size, so that swung it but I would likely have gone the Falken route if they had the right size. The Geolandar is certainly good off road and affords decent grip on wet grass, sodden thick verges and dry field work. I have had no need to use 4wd or low range with these tyres yet as they have plenty of grip in 2wd. I would not take these in to shin deep soupy muck but otherwise I really rate these for most stuff that people find themselves in other than proper hardcore off road applications. They are quiet, fuel economy does not seem to alter and I certainly noticed they are softer than the Bridgestones they replaced, so the on road ride is more compliant and soft. The only downside is side wall softness. Going in to tightist corner with any sort of spirit is not advisable. The vehicle oversteers as I believe the side wall buckles and does not stand up to the lateral forces when pushed sideways. Make no mistake, that is only when pushing on which is probably not advisable in an ancient Suzuki Grand Vitara round a tight corner, but it is a failure point with this tyre.Other than that, they do what they say on the tin. I imagine 99% of people would be happy with these tyres. You can certainly buy with confidence. Only done about 2000 miles on them so far with no discernable wear, so cannot really comment on longevity but I only do about 6000 miles a year in this vehicle, so the tyres get changed on age rather than wear so no deal breaker for me. I tend to just change them every 3 years or so and it is clear they will last that long.

Good on ice and deep snow, smooth quiet ride on pavement (truly). 2nd set on my 4wd work truck, driven mostly on gravel sideroads and paved highway. Very comfortable quiet soft ride absorbs most road shock, washboard, pavement patch lines, etc. Much easier on suspension parts. Tread on first set was 50% remaining after 3 years compared to 2 years for BF Goodrich Dueller (several sets before these G015s). Soft rubber tread yet very durable, high resistance to cutting from sharp stones on gravel roads. Pirellis are good for pavement, but quickly shred on gravel roads. Tip: Always verify your suspension components and wheel alignment are in good condition when adding new tires.

I installed those tires last year mainly looking for an aggressive all-terrain tire that could really take rough trails and forest roads. It did not disappoint at all and carried us through muddy, rocky and sandy trails without issues. What surprised us the most was that the X-AT is surprisingly quiet on the road for such a robust all-terrain tire. Often traveling a few thousand kms in between camping and offroad locations, the tires behaved very well and carried our family safely for more than a year now! Would 100% recommend if you are looking for a more serious all-terrain option that still is a likeable tire for daily driving. After about 15,000 km, tread life appears very good.
I crossed over from running the Yokohama M/T and figured I'd give the X-M/T a go. Very pleased with it. When I got into some deeper mud it chewed much better. Better than everyone else I was with that had a variety of different M/T tires on. They are going to perform great on the trail and on the highway they aren't that loud. Don't get me wrong, you can hear them, but it's not a loud hum that other M/T tires give off. Friends with the Toyo M/Ts have a much louder sound produced when we roll together.Come winter I tossed on some iGrip studs and they performed great on ice and in snow. If you aren't afraid to customize them a little with a screw in stud, they make for a great snow wheeling tire!
Seller was helpful with pre purchase questions. Price was great. Shipping was super fast. Tire is a great choice for winter and all around travel. A more aggressive tread however very quiet and didnt seem to effect gas mileage enough to notice. Installed on Jeep Grand Cherokee 4wd. Would highly recommend both seller and tire. Oh, and date of manufacture on tire was only a few months old.
After much research I chose to replace the factory tires on my 2016 Ram 1500 CC4x4. I wanted all weather tires that would be best fit for the majority of my driving (mostly city but capable of winter highway driving and summer 8,000lb trailer towing about 10,000km/yr). The Geolandar GO15 275/60R20 115H tires were best choice vs. other brands or even higher load rating tires. The Geolandars are FAR quieter than even the reviews indicated, so far (brand new obviously) are far better snow, ice and wet pavement traction than the factory Goodyear tires the truck came with. I have not yet had the chance to tow my RV trailer with them so that performance and wearability of the tires is yet to be determined but I'm optimistic they will perform well based on various test ... MoreAfter much research I chose to replace the factory tires on my 2016 Ram 1500 CC4x4. So far am VERY happy with the tires.
Tires obviously, just fine, but man the install... let's talk. So, first off tires are delayed in shipment. OK, that happens. I cancel my install appt, make another. I get notice from FedEx that the tires have arrived at Walmart (Stevenson Ranch). I show up. Kid there can't find the tires. Says that even though they arrived they haven't been "processed" yet. That's all he's willing to do.I go inside to make another appt. There's a great guy at the main auto counter. He actually gives a F and goes in the back. Lo, the tires ARE there. He has to go all the way to the other end of the store (and it's huge) to get the tires. He lugs them back, checks them in. He's great.Meanwhile, back in the garage. Why were my tires delivered to the other end of the store, but all these tires are now coming in here. OK, whatever. I wait. My man from the counter, goes and gets the tires stacked up for the boys in the garage. I wait about 20 minutes. Those fools now go on lunch. What?Guy from the counter takes me aside and tells me, it's better if I bring the tires someplace else to have them installed anyway because, get this, their tire stretcher doesn't work properly and it always scratches the rims. So, this guy whose name I didn't get, is the man. And he needs to go get a job at a real place.F Walmart and their Auto shop. Never again. NEVER. By the time I had them installed elsewhere (JustTires BTW who are always great), I could have just paid full price at TireRack or something and had an easier time of it.Walmart sucks.(Oh, and stop locking up your underwear. I ain't gonna wait half-an-hour for someone to come by so they can watch me sift through Hanes.)
