Not Paid, NO BS Review:My wife called me when I picked up the car after having the tyres changed from BFG's and she started discussing the usual family concerns... even with my mind on family... I IMMEDIATELY felt the difference in the tyres. They are like pillows to drive on. They are SO QUEIT I started hearing other sounds in my 150 series Prado!I have reversed a 1200kg camper trailer, in the rain, up a STEEP muddy incline.... AMAZED they did it! no slips, no hassles. The mind boggles how they do it, the tread looks like a simple design.... anyways... engineering and CFD I guess!I will not be buying any other brand. I dont see how any other A/T can be better.... and Yookohama give you 50,000km gaurantee. Win-Win

Needed an All Terrain tyre for a small lightweight truck that is driven on road mostly but is also used a lot on gated roads, verges and some off road in the dry mostly for hunting tasks and deer extraction.Choices really were Toyo AT+, Falken Wildpeak and the Geolandars. A friend has the Toyo and rates them but I live in a very hilly area and only the Falken and Yokohama were snow peak rated, so it came down to these two. The Yokohama were available in the exact size, so that swung it but I would likely have gone the Falken route if they had the right size. The Geolandar is certainly good off road and affords decent grip on wet grass, sodden thick verges and dry field work. I have had no need to use 4wd or low range with these tyres yet as they have plenty of grip in 2wd. I would not take these in to shin deep soupy muck but otherwise I really rate these for most stuff that people find themselves in other than proper hardcore off road applications. They are quiet, fuel economy does not seem to alter and I certainly noticed they are softer than the Bridgestones they replaced, so the on road ride is more compliant and soft. The only downside is side wall softness. Going in to tightist corner with any sort of spirit is not advisable. The vehicle oversteers as I believe the side wall buckles and does not stand up to the lateral forces when pushed sideways. Make no mistake, that is only when pushing on which is probably not advisable in an ancient Suzuki Grand Vitara round a tight corner, but it is a failure point with this tyre.Other than that, they do what they say on the tin. I imagine 99% of people would be happy with these tyres. You can certainly buy with confidence. Only done about 2000 miles on them so far with no discernable wear, so cannot really comment on longevity but I only do about 6000 miles a year in this vehicle, so the tyres get changed on age rather than wear so no deal breaker for me. I tend to just change them every 3 years or so and it is clear they will last that long.

Good on ice and deep snow, smooth quiet ride on pavement (truly). 2nd set on my 4wd work truck, driven mostly on gravel sideroads and paved highway. Very comfortable quiet soft ride absorbs most road shock, washboard, pavement patch lines, etc. Much easier on suspension parts. Tread on first set was 50% remaining after 3 years compared to 2 years for BF Goodrich Dueller (several sets before these G015s). Soft rubber tread yet very durable, high resistance to cutting from sharp stones on gravel roads. Pirellis are good for pavement, but quickly shred on gravel roads. Tip: Always verify your suspension components and wheel alignment are in good condition when adding new tires.

I crossed over from running the Yokohama M/T and figured I'd give the X-M/T a go. Very pleased with it. When I got into some deeper mud it chewed much better. Better than everyone else I was with that had a variety of different M/T tires on. They are going to perform great on the trail and on the highway they aren't that loud. Don't get me wrong, you can hear them, but it's not a loud hum that other M/T tires give off. Friends with the Toyo M/Ts have a much louder sound produced when we roll together.Come winter I tossed on some iGrip studs and they performed great on ice and in snow. If you aren't afraid to customize them a little with a screw in stud, they make for a great snow wheeling tire!
I wanted to take a moment to provide some feedback on the Yokohama Geolandar G003 tires following my recent overlanding expedition. The trip was an amazing experience, successfully covering 16,302 km across the continent, and the Geolandars played a crucial role in making it all possible. The soft but durable compound of the tire was a pleasure both on-road and off-road. My first impression was the excellent quality of the tires, especially during long highway drives. I was genuinely surprised by the sound dampening, which provided an exceptionally quiet and comfortable drive even at high speeds, all while maintaining responsive handling. When the terrain got tougher, such as during the ascent to 11,000 feet at Imogene Pass in Ouray, Colorado, I was impressed by how well the tires adapted. With rapid changes in weather, from loose gravel to heavy downpours, the Geolandars maintained solid traction with little to no loss in grip. Despite some tread breakage, which only appeared after around 13,000 km of intense driving, the tires showed impressive durability under these conditions, and the wear was perfectly understandable. One point of feedback, however, is regarding the Quebec provincial law, which requires tires to have the snowflake symbol for legal winter driving. I believe that adding this certification to the Geolandar G003 would make it an even more appealing option, particularly in Quebec. Given how durable and reliable these tires have proven to be, having them winter-certified would elevate them to the ultimate all-season tire for consumers across the province.Overall, the Yokohama Geolandar G003 has exceeded my expectations, providing a perfect balance of comfort, durability, and performance. Adding the snowflake certification would only further solidify its position as a long-lasting, all-terrain tire for any conditions.
Seller was helpful with pre purchase questions. Price was great. Shipping was super fast. Tire is a great choice for winter and all around travel. A more aggressive tread however very quiet and didnt seem to effect gas mileage enough to notice. Installed on Jeep Grand Cherokee 4wd. Would highly recommend both seller and tire. Oh, and date of manufacture on tire was only a few months old.
After much research I chose to replace the factory tires on my 2016 Ram 1500 CC4x4. I wanted all weather tires that would be best fit for the majority of my driving (mostly city but capable of winter highway driving and summer 8,000lb trailer towing about 10,000km/yr). The Geolandar GO15 275/60R20 115H tires were best choice vs. other brands or even higher load rating tires. The Geolandars are FAR quieter than even the reviews indicated, so far (brand new obviously) are far better snow, ice and wet pavement traction than the factory Goodyear tires the truck came with. I have not yet had the chance to tow my RV trailer with them so that performance and wearability of the tires is yet to be determined but I'm optimistic they will perform well based on various test ... MoreAfter much research I chose to replace the factory tires on my 2016 Ram 1500 CC4x4. So far am VERY happy with the tires.
I’ve tried brands like Goodyear, Michelin, and Firestone over the years, but the Yokohama Geolandar AT G015 has impressed me like no other. They roll smoothly with minimal road noise and handle incredibly well. On my Tacoma, which used to struggle with stability during high-speed corners, these tires kept everything under control without any issues. The price is great for the quality you get. I’m really glad I gave them a shot!
