Bought 2 twin firm mattresses for my 3/5 yr old boys. This mattress is not firm whatsoever. It’s very squishy and you can feel every spring. I wanted to buy budget friendly mattresses for my kids since I know they will grow out of them quickly. But dang, I feel bad that they’re sleeping on these things. Even to add a thicker topper on them, I should have just bought a better quality mattress. Will be returning for sure!

You will definitely have to buy a foam topper to complete this mattress. The cold are visible through the mattress so imagine how they feel. People who gave this a good review aren’t sleeping or laying on this mattress and it shows. If you need something cheap for show this works. I wouldn’t even let my kids sleep on this. Ive ordered a 2 inch foam topper hopefully that works

Bang for your buck

The mattresses arrived boxed, and vacuum sealed. It wasn’t very heavy which was a win to bring up a flight of stairs.It came double wrapped with some string plastic. After cutting the first layer, it laid flat and started to change its size. I paid $65, and it was affordable, and great for a child’s bunk bed. It’s comfortable, and quality is what you pay for. No negative comments on it.I would recommend for a guest room or as a children’s bed.

Believe this review don’t waste your money.

Do not buy this item. I followed the directions I actually let the mattresses expand for about two weeks before my children slept on them. I purchased 2 for my 7 %26 8 year old. They both complained it was uncomfortable. My children weigh between 45 and 55 pounds each. I slept on it and their complaints were valid. This is the worst please do not waste your money. Also the mattress does not inflate to the height it is supposed to if I’m able to edit review I will add picture

Cheap base mattress

This mattress seems to be getting a lot of bad reviews. It's not comfortable as it is, but it is a $70 mattress and they show you what you are getting. You are getting a basic build your own comfort bed.The reason for getting this is because futon frames/mattresses are crap at this range and without coils a flat futon mattress can never be saved. So instead you buy this... this is a mattress that yes will need foam and comfort added, but it will always be savable.

Disgusting..used and stained

We ordered these mattresses for a group of young children. First, they came rolled up and wrapped in plastic. When we opened them, they were absolutely covered in black dirt and had stains on them. We were shipped used mattresses wrapped in plastic. They look pretty much like someone picked them up off the side of the road...they were that bad.

Hard, you can feel the springs, not soft at all

Thin and flimsy, you can literally feel the springs through the mattress. For the amount of money I paid, I might as well got a memory foam one for a few more bucks. For $70, thought it would have some kind of softness to it, kind of feels like a jail mattress. Definitely don’t recommend, it’s not worth it.

Very Uncomfortable And Thin Mattress!

The mattress is quite uncomfortable and you can feel the springs digging into your backside. I had to put a memory foam mattress that I already had, over the Zinus mattress in order to make it work. Do not waste your money on this mattress. It may be inexpensive but it definitely is not worth the pain you will have from sleeping on it. Good luck finding a great mattress!

Very disappointed!

I had a Zinus mattress before, and I loved that one, so I expected the same quality, but NO. This mattress does not look like in the picture. It has never become 6 inches. It is hardly 5 inches, and it does matter when the ordered depth is already just 6 inches. Next, the mattress is not firm at all. Moreover, I can feel coils or whatever they are. The only solution of all this is to return the mattress and get another one. Very disappointed.

bad support

It described it can hold 250LB. However, I, a person less than 120LB, sit to the floor directly when I sit on the mattress on the floor.Feeling the coil is OK, it is not a big deal, I don't mind. But I cannot understand why the ~5in mattress with coil has that bad support. What a design it is. Don't most people sit on the bed before lying down? Good news is Walmart accepted my return because of the issue (The return picked up is "pick-up and destroy", feeling guilty on making waste...... )
