Absolutely love the look of these sneaks...just know that it takes a bit of breaking in time to get them to feel comfortable. I normally wear a size 7, but went down a 1/2 size to 36.5 due to my heel kept slipping out. It may be a bit more comfortable if you place a pad insert. It is a hard leather and is quite stiff and the tongue tends to push against the ankle, however after wearing them for a couple of days, they did mold and become much more comfortable. Don't expect these to feel like Nike Air Force 1 or Adidas Stan Smith...it's not that kind of sneak. They are somewhat on par with the Gucci but I like the platform on these and it's less showy than other designers. For the price, you would expect a lot more comfortable shoe, but they are well made and appears ... MoreAbsolutely love the look of these sneaks...just know that it takes a bit of breaking in time to get them to feel comfortable. I have 8 white sneakers, so I felt like I really should not get these, but they go well with most of daily wear without having to look like I'm wearing workout runners. Also note, I've seen a lot of dupes out there. Now that they are broken in and molded to my foot, I totally enjoy wearing them. If you ever worn figure skates, you know how you have to spend time to have the leather molded properly to your foot. This is similar, the more you wear these the shoe becomes customized to your foot.

I purchased these sneakers for my daughter. After just 3 weeks, it started squeaking badly. The store manager in Miami at Merrick Park was super rude and abrupt and she said nothing could be done. Forward one week and I decided to go to the Design District in Miami where Alexander McQueen has a store. Mind you, they had NO OBLIGATION to take my shoes. They were super nice, tried to fix it, but then just gave my DD a brand-new pair. Now, that is customer service! Also ladies, NEVER BUY DESIGNER SHOES AT NORDSTROM. They will not take them back no matter what. However, at McQueen, you have a ONE-YEAR WARRANTY, no questions asked. Also, Saks has a shoe repair department if you must go department store.

My shoes came pre used. The bottom of the shoes were dirty and each of the laces were tied different ways. Additionally, the order was missing an item, the white laces. Therefore, it only came with the patterned laces. Thirdly, there is clear flaws with the shoes, including creases and a pen mark on the tongue! Horrible.

Overall I am happy with the shoes but let’s get a few things straight:1. Do not buy these expecting hoka type comfort. That’s not what they are. They will break in but they’re not athletic, cloud shoes.2. They run bigger. I am consistently between a 6.5-7 and could have done a 6.5 but I’m keeping the 7. If I had to order again though I’d probably do a 6.5.3. The tongue is stiff at first. Sometimes I notice it rubbing, then I forget. It also softens over time. Just expect it.
I’ve had my eye on these sneakers for a looooong time. When I saw them on discount at Flannels I’ve never hit the ‘add to bag’ button so fast! I got mine for £299. I’d already read a gazillion reviews - most people were advising to size down. I wear a UK 5 so decided to go with a 4.5 and they fit like a dream. They arrived the next day wrapped in a Flannels tote bag to protect the McQueens packaging. Everything was in order, including a spare pair of lilac laces to match. I’m currently breaking them in around the house, wearing a pair of thick socks because the tongue is quite stiff leather and I read it can dig in to your ankle. Hopefully they’ll be as comfortable as my Gucci Ace sneakers, which are a dreamboat pair of kicks! This was my first order with Flannels ... MoreI’ve had my eye on these sneakers for a looooong time. Do shoe designers not take the time to try their own products???? If they did, shoes like this would never be made. It's like sliding your foot into a cement casing. Horrible! Shopper, beware! Sorry about the one star rating...the rating system should be updated to allow zero stars.
I have wanted these for so long. When they went on sale I hurried and bought them. I put them on and wore them on my carpet. Immediately I noticed there was no cushion, and they were both tight and loose at the same time. Tight in the toes and loose in the heel. The tongue of the shoe jabbed into my ankle. I do not have the time or patience to break in these shoes.
All the reviews I read said how comfortable these shoes were, sorry HARD AS A ROCK. And runs a tad small. I put them on and most say the tongue is stiff, well still is not sharp around the edges and hard as a rock all over the shoe. I have been looking for a high end sneaker and this is NOT the one. Waiting now for the Cole Haun ones hope they live up to the comfort.
These are currently my new favorite white sneaker. They are fairly comfy and have an elevated look to them. I love the platform bottom to give a little extra height as I am 5'3. I will absolutely be buying another pair. They also came with an extra set of laces.
I normally wear 7.5-8 in sneakers. I ordered both sizes and both were too big. Ended up ordering a 7 it was too tight. I managed to wear the 7.5 after an hour I had to switch shoes because my feet hurt so bad while the shoes was coming off. I ended up with blisters on my little toes and the side stitches make my feet sore. I just cannot understand why a sneakers so expensive and to be so uncomfortable. I only rate the shoes 2 stars for the look.
