I usually wear a size 8, this size is true to size. I have narrow feet and the roundness of the sneaker makes them feel wide so I bought the 8, fit perfect! I was so excited to get these shoes! I fell in love with them when I saw them but they are extremely uncomfortable! The tongue of the shoes DIGS into the front of your feet, the leather is very hard! The interior stitching of the shoes also rubs really bad right above the toes. Very cute but not worth the $$ if your feet will be hurting.

On behalf of my wife I will post this as apparently it won’t let you post more than 1 review…. I purchased these on 3rd of June (see review on 13th) didn’t wear them until I went to airport right shoe squeaked EXTREMELY loudly through airport at 6.30am and the tongue of the right shoe cut into bottom of leg causing it to bleed and scab for 24 days? I did not expect to buy trainers I’ve always worn to find them so uncomfortable I haven’t been able to wear them since. Will be back to return them when I’m able… worn once if I could upload a video of the noise from this shoe in the airport I would, totally embarrassing when people with young children were commenting on the noise off of my trainer and it was echoing through the terminal. If store can advise me how to add ... MoreOn behalf of my wife I will post this as apparently it won’t let you post more than 1 review…. I purchased these sneakers for my daughter. After just 3 weeks, it started squeaking badly. The store manager in Miami at Merrick Park was super rude and abrupt and she said nothing could be done. Forward one week and I decided to go to the Design District in Miami where Alexander McQueen has a store. Mind you, they had NO OBLIGATION to take my shoes. They were super nice, tried to fix it, but then just gave my DD a brand-new pair. Now, that is customer service! Also ladies, NEVER BUY DESIGNER SHOES AT NORDSTROM. They will not take them back no matter what. However, at McQueen, you have a ONE-YEAR WARRANTY, no questions asked. Also, Saks has a shoe repair department if you must go department store.

Overall I am happy with the shoes but let’s get a few things straight:1. Do not buy these expecting hoka type comfort. That’s not what they are. They will break in but they’re not athletic, cloud shoes.2. They run bigger. I am consistently between a 6.5-7 and could have done a 6.5 but I’m keeping the 7. If I had to order again though I’d probably do a 6.5.3. The tongue is stiff at first. Sometimes I notice it rubbing, then I forget. It also softens over time. Just expect it.
I’ve had my eye on these sneakers for a looooong time. When I saw them on discount at Flannels I’ve never hit the ‘add to bag’ button so fast! I got mine for £299. I’d already read a gazillion reviews - most people were advising to size down. I wear a UK 5 so decided to go with a 4.5 and they fit like a dream. They arrived the next day wrapped in a Flannels tote bag to protect the McQueens packaging. Everything was in order, including a spare pair of lilac laces to match. I’m currently breaking them in around the house, wearing a pair of thick socks because the tongue is quite stiff leather and I read it can dig in to your ankle. Hopefully they’ll be as comfortable as my Gucci Ace sneakers, which are a dreamboat pair of kicks! This was my first order with Flannels ... MoreI’ve had my eye on these sneakers for a looooong time. I have been debating about these since they first came out and I saw them in Europe. I finally picked up a pair and have been breaking them in on another trip. They are a stiff shoe, but comfortable. I did not have any issues with the tongue cutting my ankle. I have the white leather with rose gold heel and the white leather is not creasing or marking. I normally wear an 8.5 (38.5-39) and a 39.5FR in Louboutin. Although the sizing in these is marked Italian, I took a 39.5 in these. They work well with a great variety of outfits and I like that the branding is minimal.
Do shoe designers not take the time to try their own products???? If they did, shoes like this would never be made. It's like sliding your foot into a cement casing. Horrible! Shopper, beware! Sorry about the one star rating...the rating system should be updated to allow zero stars.
I have wanted these for so long. When they went on sale I hurried and bought them. I put them on and wore them on my carpet. Immediately I noticed there was no cushion, and they were both tight and loose at the same time. Tight in the toes and loose in the heel. The tongue of the shoe jabbed into my ankle. I do not have the time or patience to break in these shoes.
They look so good IRL. LOVE the aesthetic, but they just don't work for my feet. The tongue is high & stiff, but I feel like I could "train" it by rolling it forward & pushing it out away from my foot. The dealbreaker is the heel slippage. My heel slides out every step. I bought my usual size & toes were right up on the toe box, so downsizing was not an option. I really wanted these to work, but they are so uncomfortable. Bought them for an walk-heavy Italian trip so...no.
Sorry, but I ordered these and wanted the hoes in the image on this site. I received these same shoes with black and white striped laces. There was a set of white laces in the box, but i have no idea how to lace them to look like the picture. I have bought these in other colors from other stores and always get them loaded up with white laces. These are a return for me for this reason.
