I use both android and iOS so i try a lot of different attachments and accessories from both systems. I have an older iOS tablet that i put back in my rotation and since the old cord looked a little too abused, i took out a brand new apple store bought cord to use with it. Granted the tablet is a few years old and sometimes with Apple products, the charging gets very unstable but the new authentic Apple cord makes charging so incredibly hard. Most often it will just show that it isn't charging and other times it will charge for a few seconds and stop. I wasn't sure if it's the cord or the ipad attachment part malfunctioning. So i switched to my other cords from Anker and they all charge! I bought this extra cord when i got my ipad so it's been several years but only started using it recently. I doubt i can still get a refund at this point but even if i could, i am not sure how happy i would be to have to look through if i kept any records of the purchase and bring it into the store to get a refund. For a company that tries to force people to only use their own overpriced accessories, at least get it right and have better quality control! This incident has made me love my Anker cords even more so.

I recently purchased the Apple Lightning to USB cable (2m) and I have been extremely satisfied with its performance. The extra length of the cable is very convenient, as it allows me to comfortably use my device while it's charging without feeling restricted by a short cord. The quality of the cable is excellent - it feels durable and well-made, which gives me confidence that it will last a long time without fraying or breaking. The Lightning connector fits securely into my device without any issues, and the USB end plugs easily into my charger or laptop. I've found that this cable charges my device quickly and efficiently, which is essential for me as I'm always on the go and need a reliable charging solution. If this was not made by Apple I would never buy it. So many third party manufacturers have cables that are covered with heavy material and most importantly, have tension coverings at the bend points that prevent breakage and stronger plastic at the end that plugs into the device. EVERY Apple supplied cable will fail at the same place - the plastic at the Lightning port will crack and ultimately break exposing the wires. Others have solved this issue. See the picture above of a non Apple supplied Lightning connector for a great design that has outlasted 3 Apple brand Lightning connectors. I’m actually surprised since the other users I know have the same issue and it seems a redesign and replacement should have been made years ago. So why did I buy this again? I’m actually surprised since the other users I know have the same issue and it seems a redesign and replacement should have been made years ago. So why did I buy this again? There must be some electrical reason that causes my iPad to not charge (off of my genuine Apple supplied USB plug) when using a non Apple USB-Lightning cable. It wasn’t charging half the time and I switch over to an Apple cable and it charges right up every time. But I have to treat it with kid gloves so it doesn’t break. Really though, no matter what you do, it will break: death, taxes and your Apple made Lightning connector will split at the connection point are the only sure bets in life.
I recently purchased the Apple Lightning to USB Cable (2 m), and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Right from the start, the quality of this cable is evident. The length is perfect, offering ample flexibility for charging and syncing my devices from a comfortable distance. Whether I'm in bed, at my desk, or in the car, the extended length ensures I never feel restricted. One of the standout features is the durability. Unlike many other cables I've used in the past, this one feels robust and well-made. I’ve had no issues with connectivity, and it works seamlessly with all my Apple devices, including my iPhone, iPad, and AirPods. The connection is always secure, and I appreciate that I don’t have to worry about it coming loose or disconnecting unexpectedly. Another aspect I love is the sleek, minimalist design that Apple is known for. It matches perfectly with my other Apple products, maintaining a clean and cohesive look. Overall, the Apple Lightning to USB Cable (2 m) is a fantastic investment. It combines quality, performance, and design in a way that enhances my daily tech experience. If you’re looking for a reliable and durable cable, this one is definitely worth considering. Highly recommended!
Pros: 1. Length: The 2-meter cable provides significantly more freedom when using devices while charging, especially if the outlet is far from your workspace or bed. 2. Material Quality: As always, Apple offers high-quality materials. The cable is sturdy and doesn’t seem like it will break easily. 3. Compatibility: The cable works perfectly with all Apple devices, ensuring fast charging and data transfer. 4. Design: The minimalist design and classic white color of the cable go well with other Apple products. Cons: 1. Price: Like all Apple products, this cable is quite expensive compared to alternatives from other manufacturers. 2. Durability: Although the cable looks sturdy, the white plastic can yellow or wear out over time, especially with heavy use. 3. Lack of ... MorePros: 1. Overall, the 2-meter USB cable from Apple is an excellent choice for those who value quality and reliability and are willing to pay for the brand and comfort. It provides everything necessary for effective work with Apple devices, although it doesn’t have the extra options that can be found in competitors’ products.
I hate apple cables I hate the way they price gouge you even with the newer standard cables they figured out a way to make them not standard. Apple gets ya going in to the door then they get ya with no repairability expensive cables and a software store. The problem is iphone and mac just work better for audio and video production than a pc so I am stuck with it. I just wish these cables would quit dieing. They get dirty and the connectors wear out fairly quickly. Sadly the apple cables seem to work slightly better than the non apple cables and I can't help but think this is a software design to keep you just buying apple and not a problem with the actual cable quality.
Like a fool, I put my trust in the brand's products! I bought this 6.6 ft Apple lightning charging cable for my iphone and within a month it has quit working through routine usage.Bought at my local Best Buy on April 27, 2024, the date to return by ended on May 17, 2024, low and behold on June 1, 2024 the cable stopped working. Perfect timing Best Buy!If you're looking for a replacement lightning cord for your apple product THIS AIN'T IT! Do not waste your $30 bucks like I did. I would suggest an after market brand, so when it stops working in a month or so at least you won't be out of $30. I expected better from Apple.
Of course, 3 ft. is too short for comfort - but I needed a C-to-C cable ASAP, and it was the only length available. What I didn’t expect and was very pleased with is the snug fit of the connector to the charging port. It doesn’t jiggle around loosely and fall out with the slightest bump. In fact, I called the local AT%26T (my carrier) store to see if they had C-to-C cables. They did; 6-foot length which I would have preferred . . . BUT NOT AT 5X THE COST! Are they nuts? On top of that outrage, AT%26T’s cables are the ones that I’ve had chronic problems with over the years in terms of fitting into the charging port! What a relief to find a good, inexpensive one at Walmart. *whew!*
These chargers do not last long. I thought I would buy them at Walmart with a 3-year warranty. If you buy in store you only get a 2-year warranty for the same price as a 3-year. I order curbside pickup to get a 3-year warranty. Curbside pickup refuses to give a receipt for their purchases. One month passed and the charger broke. Walmart will not return without a receipt. The warranty company also wants a receipt. I paid $25 for one and got $21 back. I did not get refunded for the warranty. I was offered free replacement by mail (without warranty and without receipt) This purchase was a replacement for the charger that lasted about a month. The piece that plugged into my device broke off the charger and into my device. I am happy that the broken piece was removed ... MoreThese chargers do not last long. These chargers are cheaply made, overpriced, and their warranties are not honored without receipts, you do not get a full refund without the receipts. Next time buying elsewhere since not warrantied without receipt for full purchase price here.
