I have several pairs of the Papillo line, but these are my first pair of Birks. They are just as comfortable as I’ve heard. I had a difficult time determining which size to buy. I typically wear between a 6 and a 6.5. The 36 fit just fine, but I decided to go with a wider, looser fit and longer footbed and went with a 37. I totally could have gone with either size. These really run big.

These are the perfect sandal. They offer support, comfort, and have tread on the bottom. They do take the shape of your foot, so break them in. The adjustable straps give the perfect fit. I walk a lot and have worn through 2 pairs in 3 years. But, I do that to any brand I buy. For $100, they are a great deal for an everyday, casual sandal that still provides support and a little style.

I bought these because I have narrower feet and these fit great. I got my usual birkenstock size. They are comfortable at first and fit very nicely. I wear these almost daily all year round being in a warm state. After a year (even when taking care of the footed and cork) they crack on the side and under the pad of your foot making these unbearable and not repairable. I ordered a replacement thinking it was me not taking care of them but my second pair did the same thing at the same length of time. Don't expect this style to last you. Google this style w the crack it is very common.i won't be buying a third pair at this point, going back to the old style.

I absolutely love these! They are the first pair of Birkenstocks I have ever bought and I definitely will be buying more. First off, they are extremely comfortable. I’ve worn them all day and have no foot pain. I’ve had mine for several months with almost every day wear over the summer and they still look great. I’ve just followed Birkenstocks cleaning directions and they still look brand new. For sizing I’m normally an 8.5, unless I plan on wearing thick socks air something. I did have to size up to a 9 in these. The 81/2 had everything right on the very edge.
I've had my eye on these Birkenstocks sandals for a while, and when I recently saw them in the store in my size, I took the plunge. They're not cheap, but they're worth it. I have another pair of Birkenstocks (clogs) that I bought 20+ years ago when I was in college, and I still wear them. (I've gotten them resoled a few times.) I anticipate having these a long time as well! Great quality, long lasting, and comfortable.
I have bought the same pair multiple times and every single time the toe strap breaks. They last a while. And I love them while I have them. But clearly there’s a defect in product development since it breaks in the same spot every single time. Same thing happened both my daughters. Same break. Same place.
I bought these wanting to hate them. I first stalked them on HSN, and then the Birkenstock Website, and then finally took the plunge at Nordys, thanks to their generous return policy. I couldn't stomach spending over 100 bucks on corkboard. I figured if I finally buy them, think they're hideous, and that itch will be scratched and I'll never think of them again. Yeah. Well. That's not exactly what happened.. As soon as I put them on, I knew I was done. I knew I was in trouble and I was keeping them. I didn't really have the "break in" period so many people have talked about. They were pretty much golden right out of the box. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I may or may not be looking for other styles! I guess I'm a fan!
This is my first time purchasing Birkenstocks. I really like the look of the Mayari. I chose the Stone color. It is neutral, between a grey and brown. I like the crisscross style, which holds my foot in place since I usually have trouble with my feet sliding forward in sandals. These fit well and initially feel good walking around. However, my feet were sore after wearing them for several hours the first time. Maybe I need time to break them in. I’m hoping that’s it, since the description refers to the footbed eventually molding to your feet over time.
This was my first pair of Birkenstocks. My sister LOVES hers and highly recommended them. I really like the metallic ones and they go very well with everything in my summer wardrobe, from casual jeans to something a little dressier. The bottom isn't super cushiony, but after wearing them for a while it forms to the bottom of your foot. I have a lot of foot problems, but these are very comfortable for extended periods of wear. I will definitely be getting another pair for next spring/summer!
I have several pair of the Mayari sandal and really love them. I needed a Fall color, not a dark brown and not a light tan. The color I purchased is weird: not white, not light tan not patent, not oiled leather. It’s kind of a shiny seashell, sugar sand. It’s a perfect dark enough shade for a Fall and not don’t wear white after Labor Day white. Depending on what style Birkenstocks I buy I have to get different sizes. I bought my usual size, 38 regular width and it fits perfect.
