I love this lipstick formula so much! If I could afford it, I would buy all the shades. I currently have it in three colours. All the shades apply so nice and smooth and don’t draw attention to the lines on my lips. They feel somewhat moisturizing which I love, because my lips are chronically dry and flaky! After a lot of research I tried this lipstick, and it's everything I had hoped for! It's very hydrating and feels great on my lips. It lasts a good 4-5 hours before I need to reapply it as long as I let it dry completely before eating or drinking anything. I honestly couldn't ask for any more. My only issue (and the reason I deducted 1 star) is the colors are very off from how they appear online, so unless you go to a physical store it's really hard to know what you are getting. It sets slightly on the lips like a long-lasting lipstick and in fact does have good endurance. It doesn't transfer on to cups (and I tested this) and yet doesn't make my lips feel dry.It does have a slight staining effect but doesn't look eneven or blotchy. As it wears it actually seems to look even more natural looking.Great for days and dark enough for nights this might be as close to perfection as a lipstick can be. Love it!
I received a mini gift of this lipstick with a purchase and as soon as I put it on; it was a match made in Heaven! Neutral Rose is such a beautiful color! It works perfectly with my "Soft Summer" complexion and Hazel eye color. I look best in soft muted colors- anything too bright or bold, like raspberry or fuchsia just overwhelms me - so this lipstick is perfect for a polished, professional daytime look. The formula is probably one of the best I've found in a lipstick- it's soft, yet richly pigmented and it has decent staying power. So glad I found this! Don't hesitate bc it looks like Neutral Rose is almost gone - I do hope BB doesn't discontinue it.
The problem with this product is that it has an intense color (Parisian red), but doesn't have a long-lasting or easy to apply texture. It's more like a lip calm, which makes the application difficult and once you touch a glass or something, half of it is already off.This wouldn't be a problem if this was like a Clinique - chubby stick - where precision doesn't matter so much, because the colors aren't so intense.This is an intense colored lipstick that will smudge right away and if you don't put it on with a pencil you'll look like a clown.
