One 3.4 fl Oz bottle will last a long time even with daily wear. If I had to choose day or night wear, I would probably say it’s better for night wear as it is rather strong if you overdo it. Personally I wear it any time I feel like it, sparingly during the day heavy at night even sprayed on my hair. I purchased the set including the refillable purse spray this time to have it in my travel bag too. The bottle is beautiful on any vanity, heavy just the simple, but expensive design makes it stand out. The sleek black purse spray is an attention getter too. I would recommend getting the EDP spray over the pure perfume as it can be overpowering I prefer a spray. Definitely get this EDP spray over the EDT spray, the extra price is worth it. This EDP will work well on anyone of any age I would definitely recommend any woman to at least try it once, you may just get hooked like I am.

I have always wanted to own Chanel No. 5, so I finally sprung for a bottle to be my wedding scent last May (2022). I felt so high-class and classic while wearing it to walk down the aisle to meet my now-husband ❤️ It was in this parfum that I had my first dance with my husband; that I took my first photos with him; that we were announced to our family friends as husband and wife. So I have a sentimental place for it. As for the actual smell, I don’t know what some of the reviewers are talking about - I think it smells wonderful without being too overpowering. I spray three spritzes: one on the inside of each wrist one on my collarbone - and I’m good to go. I wear it for both special occasions and whenever I want to feel special. 5 stars!

A Good Fake

I was skeptical but made this purchase on 4/27 and was sent a message on 4/28 that the package had been shipped and would arrive on 5/2 — then I received another message on 5/1 informing me the package would be delayed — it didn't arrive until 5/6. The product was wrapped very well and there was no damage whatsoever. The box the fragrance came in is wrapped in plastic like Chanel No5 and looks authentic, the bottle has the same look as No5, but the scent is off and doesn't have the same powdery smell No5 has once it dries — it smells good at first, but I have purchased Chanel No5 enough to know the difference. At the bottom of the bottle there are supposed to be numbers engraved — the bottle of the fragrance I purchased does not have any numbers. Its fragrance is luscious and layered, intoxicating in its richness and hypnotic in its complexity, sweet, earthy, and utterly unforgettable! I usually save my Chanel for evenings, when the warmth of candle light and sheen of pearls enhances its mystery and depth, but sometimes, a quick touch on my wrists and neck can make grocery shopping a whole new experience! Disappointed

I am disappointed in this product but should have known better. I LOVE Chanel products and have purchased for years. I assumed Walmart sellers were vetted so I felt comfortable purchasing at such a discounted price. Well fast forward to the day I decided to use the product. The very first spray I knew it was a counterfeit version. I can honestly say that after the initial EWWWWW the smell wasn’t terrible and it had some remnants of the true Chanel No 5, however for me there will never be a substitute. I returned the product and purchased the real thing directly from Chanel. If someone wants a cost effective version that has hints of Chanel No 5 I say go for it, this just doesn’t work for me.

It’s turning!

I love Chanel No 5 so I was very excited to get my purchase.However I had to select a 1 because 0 was not available for this particular purchase. Sadly the bottle I received is ‘turning’ in other words it is turning color almost brown which is close to the second stage of bad.I have worn and purchased Chanel many times over the years including several different fragrances so I wanted to be sure I was correct when I received this bottle and went to Chanel directly to ask about turning stages. Missing the authentic

So I'm one of those people who bought this as a teenager and wore it religiously--yes, decades ago. I've been researching contemporary perfumes for an article and have learned much about the industry: certain ingredients banned for various reasons, the cheapening of other ingredients for economic reasons, and the general need for companies to keep things fresh and new by reinventing the old. In the case of Chanel No. 5, this is a travesty. The original formula is only a ghost in this bottle. Heartbreak. The characteristic complex sillage, lost. A plea: bring back the one and only No. 5 from the estates of the grande dames of lore, the young and hopeful of nostalgia, the glamorous from times gone. Any way you can formulate it, do it.

Refreshing and Modern Take on an old Favorite

I own and use the original No. 5 fragrance created in 1921 and wear it on special occasions. When I saw the Premier version come out in the mid 2000's I was excited to try it to see how Chanel could possibly improve what was already perfect. This has become my favorite scent. While I could definitely detect the original 1921 scent, it also brought to it other notes that gave it a more modern, fresher and original take to our 1921 parent scent. Dare I also say in my case, I found it lasted longer than the original? I wouldn't part with either of these scents, but Premier is a scent I actually find myself using on an almost daily basis with loads of compliments. Thank you for creating another masterpiece!

I read quite a few reviews before I went ahead and ordered this iconic fragrance... from Walmart, of all places.I saved some perfume in the last bottle of Chanel No. 5 that I purchased for full price somewhere else so that I could compare, and was absolutely delighted to receive a larger bottle at a much lower price from Walmart. Now, I don't know if other buyers just don't like Chanel, or maybe their product was different from mine. But I am telling you that my perfume is the real deal. This Chanel smells exactly the same, and the packaging looks genuine to me, too.Besides, when I ordered, it said that I had 30 days to return.
