I purchased these shoes as for spring break we were traveling to Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon National Parks. I needed a good quality hiking shoe that could get through snow packed trails as well as wet and muddy trails. The shoes are comfortable and met the challenge and made it through miles and miles of national park trails, boating on Lake Powell and a 30 mile dusty UTV tour. The shoes faired very well and still look new after some clean up. They keep your feet warn, dry and comfortable.

This is my third pair of these particular shoes, and I can honestly say that they are the best sneakers that I have ever worn!! They need no real break-in time; they are immediately comfortable. I wore the first pair for 8 years before replacing them. I still have the second pair, and they are still comfortable. I highly recommend them!!!

Bought these for my husband. At first he thought they were a bit wide and debated returning them but he decided to try them for a hike. They held up really well on 5.5 miles of very rocky trail and about a thousand feet of elevation gain. My new women's Columbia hiking shoes were similarly wide feeling but are equally great, so maybe we aren't used to how hiking shoes fit. Very happy with this purchase.

I ordered 2 pair Columbia Shoes for my husband for Christmas, a brown and Black pair (for his union work). He has had the brown ones before and loved them but wore them out. I gave him the black pair early because he needed work shoes as a Union Rigger for Broadway shows and was called into work this holiday. He loved the black pair so much that I am jazzed to know he will have the brown pair too after Christmas to wear and enjoy. Thank you!
Throwing away after a couple of months light use. Firstly the insole wore away within a week just with normal light park walking. And ok easy enough to replace. In less than 2 months the backs have torn and the hard inner now rubs causing blisters on back of foot. So uncomfortable is this that they are now impossible to wear. With any comfort at all. Both shoes as illustrated. Such a shame as the outside are in very good condition. Sadly this does not help with comfort.
Excellent Purchase. I have size 15 feet and have tried OrthoFeet to relieve sore feet after doing yard work. The Orthofeet was a good product. However, I realized that I needed something more sturdy with more insole cushion. I was surprised to just find out that Columbia sold footwear. So, I ordered the Crestwood and as soon as I took one step in them I knew I had found the SOLUTION to my sore feet. I have since worn them all day while doing yard work and shopping, etc. NO MORE SORE FEET! Also the Crestwood is an attractive looking shoe. I am not a Hiker, but if I were, Crestwood would be my choice. PS. Excellent Customer Service also!.
Ordered a size 12 and felt a little to snug for comfort, but toe length was ok. Returned them for a size 12 Wide (a whole other story) and the replacement pair was a lot tighter on the sides and length seems shorter as now my toes are hitting the front of the show and overall very uncomfortable. I don't know if these are manufactured in different factories, but the wider shoe should have been bigger, not smaller. I'm returning them again and don't know if I will reorder since this is getting expensive. These were to replace a similar Columbia shoe, YM6390-255, that was very comfortable and which I had worn multiple pairs for years, but it looks like they discontinued it.
Columbia has always provided quality products and I am never disappointed.I needed a new pair of hiking shoes and found this pair on line. This product is everything they said it was and much more. Fit, finish, size, and style are outstanding!! Best thing…when I put them on they hugged my feet comfortably and I didn’t have to “break them in”. I’ve already logged in two hikes, both were 6 miles total and these shoes were very comfortable and provided just the right amount of support. They did well through mud, rain, and snow!You will be very satisfied with this product.Thank you Columbia for your quality products!
Purchased in early May, 2022. Waterproofing lasted until 1st of July. Like their looks and fit -- but purchased specifically for the waterproofing. I don't wade through creeks or wear them on the beach -- just take early morning walks in the dew-laden grass. Perhaps because of the every-day exposure to moisture I do notice the rubber on the sides and front beginning to crack slightly. That makes me fear that these shoes, quite apart from the waterproofing issue, won't last very long. Too bad . . . I initially thought these were going to be the perfect shoe for me!
I bought this shoe on December 17, 2022. My package arrived in 4 days. On the night of December 24, unfortunately, my apartment was filled with water from two floors above. I have unintentionally tested this shoe. I tried to throw out the water at a height of 3 or 4 cm for exactly 3 hours. After 3 hours, while I was sitting in the car due to exhaustion, I realized that the shoes were not waterproof even a drop. good thing i bought it. Columbia certainly has more comfortable shoes. But I think this shoe is very good for the price.
