So I love the look of these shoes BUT they are not very comfy?For me anyway. Since converse run big, I tried two different sizes, 1 whole size smaller and a half size smaller. The whole size smaller did not fit me at all and my feet would slip out when walking. For the half size smaller my heel still slips out a little bit but not as much. So it seems depending on your feet, these may not fit well no matter what size you get. I'm going to keep the half size smaller just cuz I want pink shoes. Maybe I'll break them in and they'll get better.

My first pair of Converse platforms and I love them! I was a little concerned they'd feel heavy and I'd have to learn to walk around in them, but it wasn't the case at all! They are a tiny bit heavier than most all my other tennis shoes, but nothing major.. hardly noticeable.They're cute, cushiony, comfortable, and really do go with well with a variety of outfits. I liked them so much that I decided to get the high top version in white as well and am looking forward to getting them in other colors too!On me they were true to size and even though my feet are just a touch wide, I experienced no pinching or other issues.

I love the look of these sneakers. The platform was a bonus for me since I am 5'. So any extra length that's comfortable, I love. What surprised me was that these feel like a "comfort sneaker". I usually buy these and this time, I tried the Converse and the SuperGa's. The Superga's were pretty but did not feel good. These are cute and comfortable. I bought a size 5 based on the suggested size. My normal sneaker size is a 5.5 or even a 6. The 5 was perfect.
Followed the advice of those who recommended sizing down a half size. I am normally size 8 for most shoes. I ordered 7.5M. They not only fit well (with low cut sport socks), but look great. The soft grey seems to work with any color jean and even skirts. I'm short (5'2") so appreciate the platform. The shoes on their own are surprisingly heavy, yet unnoticeable when wearing and walking about. Love them.
I marked these true to size since the size chart recommends sizing down. I usually wear a 9.5W shoe and got these in a solid 9W. They are PERFECT in every way: 1. They are the most beautiful shade of a bubblegum/hot pink. 2. They are very comfortable! 3. They have the tab that keeps the tongue of your shoe in place. You know that little piece of fabric under your laces that you weave the laces through? Why do some converse NOT have that anymore? It bothers me so much when the tongue of a high top is all the way to the side. Anyways, get these shoes. Highly recommend 🩷
I always like converse all stars for the warm weather. They are the perfect summer sneakers. The canvas feels very stiff when they are new but my old ones after 4 years the canvas is softer. They feel kinda wonky at first but I think all good sneakers have a break in time. I always go a whole size down in these, and get the wide width which is really like a regular width. I love them cause they are the only sneakers I like to wear when it’s hot out and they go with everything.
Size down a full size! I usually wear 6.5 and purchased that size initially. When I tried them on my foot was slipping out of the heel with every step I took (even with socks on). So I exchanged for 5.5 and my foot still slips out some. I had to tighten the laces as much as possible and I think it should be fine. I won’t really know until I walk around in them for the day. I’m really hoping they work out because they’re so cute and the sole is very cushioned, so I’m hoping they will be comfortable to walk around in all day.
I have worn Chuck Taylor's since I was a kid. I love the platform style because it just simply pops and it's just as comfortable as all of my other Chuck Taylor's. I have at least 12 different Chuck's now in all different colors. My husband has several also and loves them as much as I do. What I really love is there is no age limit. They are timeless. What other shoe can say that? It's too bad Chuck Taylor died so young. Not only did he end up with two Basketball Hall of Fame inductions but a Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame induction as well. And it all started in 1922 with simply asking for a better shoe... and he became a household name! Now that's a legacy! I think he would be pretty proud.
Runs slightly large (I normally wear a 9, but ordered 8.5 and fit is perfect with socks on). Comfortable to wear for long periods of time and go with everything. BEWARE the laces though, the quality is absolutely awful. Very thin and snap/fray quickly. I had this shoe less than a week and the lace snapped when tying them up. It is odd as this is 2nd time I’ve ordered this shoe and don’t recall the quality being this bad - take note Converse! However, I went onto Amazon and ordered Converse White Shoe Laces 45 Inches and they are FAR superior. See photo: left shoe has the original laces (thin and cotton); right shoe has the new Converse lace ordered on Amazon (thicker and stretchy). You’ll thank me later! :)
