This soap smells soooo good and makes my body feel so clean and refreshed! I have sensitive skin and a lot of soaps with scent irritate me but this doesn’t. I feel like for the size that price is fair because the bar lasted me a long time . I love that the packaging is compostable and that’s it’s much safer to use than other brands. Dr Bronners is known for their quality body washes but the bars of soap are no exception. Very happy with how much my skin benefited from using this and will continue to purchase. Looking forward to trying the other scents.

My wife and I were recently was introduced to Dr Bronner's bar soap, so we purchased 3 diff. scents: Peppermint, Rose, and Almond.Our first reactions were positive, the scents for each bar were noticeable (Peppermint the most, Rose the least) but not too strong, and the lather was adequate. 1 week later, we've noticed there is very little scent remaining in each bar (my wife uses the rose bar) and the bars are almost 80% shrunken which surprised us. We were sincerely hoping the bar would last longer considering the +/- $5.00 cost/bar, and based on this, we both strongly feel the value would be much better if the bar was at least bigger, it really needs to be for the high cost/bar. I've used Dr. Bronner's soaps for many years but only the liquid versions and I did not like the rose scent very much. When I heard lIsa Bronner herself state that she prefers the rose scent in the bar version I decided to try it. Got one at an overpriced local food store and loved the scent. I immediately came to iherb to get a few more bars and am very glad I did; this is shaping up to be one of my top favorite soaps -and I am a "soap freak" with several favorites.It is great to have a Bronner's soap slightly milder than their liquid. Theingredients are top quality, and the foam has a pleasant creamy texture.
I bought 2 versions, Rose and Citrus Orange. I opened the Rose first and am currently using it. They both smell absolutely fabulous, with healthy ingredients, but the scent is extremely mild and not noticeable unless you put your hand up to your nose. They clean very well without drying, which is a plus over all the liquid soaps I've used. I have medium-hard tap water and it still cleans well and leaves only a small amount of residue in my stainless steel kitchen sink, and my hands are left feeling soft after I've dried them. It does take quite a bit of rinsing, however, to remove all the feel of residue from my skin with this type of water.
So a few years back I had an accident with a broken washing machine that had way too much fabric softener in the wash when it broke and despite re washing the clothes, I ended up with a lifetime of extreme skin sensitivity so much so, that any soap with any kind of perfume or anything would make my entire body break out in a horrible rash that itched like thousands of mosquito bites all over!! After a long and miserable time testing soaps I finally tried this one. I am amazed and so greatful for this soap! Its literally the only thing I can use so far that I know of and am completely rash and hive free and its been over 3 years now! I've been a fan of Dr. Bronner's for YEARS. I always used the liquid soap as my 1st body wash when entering the shower. That was until I tried the bar soap. It is the same amazing soap, yes however the way it suds up to utter perfection on an African net is something that has made this bar soap a staple in my home and shower routine. My husband works outside in a labor intensive job. He's won't shower without the peppermint bar soap. It not only cools him but refreshes him. I also think it's worth noting my husband has some of the most sensitive skin I've seen. He also has excema and this doesn't bother his skin whatsoever. Our daughter also always has Dr. Bronners in her shower.
I recently tried this soap, and I have to say, it’s a standout product. Among all the soaps from this brand, this one boasts the best fragrance by far. I was initially hesitant to purchase it due to the longer list of ingredients, many of which were unfamiliar to me. However, after comparing it to another soap from the same brand, I realized that these additional ingredients are what make this soap smell so exceptional.While I do have a preference for simpler soaps with fewer ingredients, the delightful scent of this soap won me over. It’s clear that the extra ingredients are there to enhance the fragrance, and it’s definitely worth it. I absolutely love this soap for its wonderful smell and will continue to enjoy it.
I don’t think I’ll ever buy a beauty blender sponge and brush solid cleanser. THIS works waaaaaay better and I’m kinda upset with myself that I just discovered this! I was looking for a product that actually works in cleaning my make up tools without breaking my bank and man, a lot of people recommended this. Low and behold I ran to my local Target and purchased this in the unscented variant (and the lavender scent too just because!) and used it to wash and deep clean my foundation brush and oh em gee… it got rid of all the gunk and and my brush just smells clean. I know it’s unscented but I could smell the clean brush hairs! I will definitely stock up on these babies and may try all the other scents!
