From reviews on these I went a size up. Which made them a good fit, the only problem I found were the side adjustment straps kept coming loose. The nylon webbing was very shiny, so hopefully when washed a few times, then the buckles will have more grip. Only 2 open front pockets, no closures but very deep. My van key never came out on a full day at FOD.

I wanted to try these for ages and in the summer sale they were too good to miss. The quality is excellent, a bit odd having the two different fabrics but look cool. Yet to try out as it's obviously been too dry but the fit is true to size. Happy customer

I call this FOX Hybrid short, water short on the back and regular on the front makes this an awesome short for any season, you are protected in the rain season and also can pedal up hill without a problem thanks to the lightweight front. Looks great, resistant, comfortable, large pockets. and nice price !!! Buy buy buy !!!
Expected a “dry behind” having worn these for the first time out under trousers, but sadly this was not the case. Not waterproof….Will keep for dry days only. Very long exchange procedure too as first size I bought wasn’t right. Nice fit now though.
These shorts look good and fit well. Also the waterproof panel seems breathable, though I have not tried them in the wet. Although I like that the pockets are 'top loading', a small zipped pocket would be a good addition.On the downside the material is quite thin and not reinforced. Also only a single popper and the adjustment doesn't work well.
I do not feel the cold too much so these shorts are perfect for me for the winter. They keep you dry and therefore warmer than if you get soaked. The fit is the best I have found in MTB shorts and I am tempted to now invest in a summer pair. I cannot recommend these enough.
Overall these shorts are pretty sweet! I think they’re too long for basic trail riding but for racing and pushing the envelope they’ll accommodate knee pads.
