The Lx comes with its own cylindrical case of anodised aluminium exactly the same shade as the pen it protects. The Lx still takes the same Lamy T10 ink cartridges or bottled ink via the Lamy Z28 converter. The window (which allows you to see how much ink you have left) and the contoured black tinted grip have also been retained from the AL-Star. It comes with one Lamy T10 blue ink cartridge.
