The sunrise theming is reflected beautifully in the gradient hue of the glass, as well as the spherical indentation found at the heart of the flacon. It is the traditional Idôle flask design, but with a colorful twist that radiates with the light of a new sun. One of my favorite sayings is “all we have is now.” The past and the future are mere ideas. All we have, all we truly have, is the here and now. I think this fragrance aims to mirror similar sentiments, reminding us to bask in the moment. I sprayed Idôle Now generously along my wrists, and immediately I was mesmerized by the velvety warm sweetness of an immaculate Vanilla Bourbon infusion. The other two parts of the formula’s magical olfactory trio are an “upcycled” rosewater essence married with a soothing Malaysian orchid accord. There are features of each ingredient that are augmented by science and biotechnology to prolong the trail of this sweet floral concoction. Strong, sustainable, and absolutely brimming with a beautiful feminine passion. Another gem to add to the wish list.

Idôles are trailblazers and together, we create a new way.” this starts off with almost a kick of spice to the rose but rapidly gains some sweetness and settles in. (I love it for about a minute, tops) The sweetness is unique, but is there. Think old school floral updated to be fresh and younger. I do warn those that avoid sweeter scents this may be too much, personally I enjoy it briefly but feel like it gets clingy after about 15 minutes and I need a break from it, something to deepen the palette would have been nice. Husband loves this one!

I have been trying to find a perfume that my husband loves, but every time I have him smell perfumes he says “it smells fine, but they all smell the same to me”. Well I don’t want to smell just “fine”. So I decided to take a different approach. I ordered several perfumes from different brands Channel, Marc Jacobs, Yves Saint Laurent, Lancôme essentially all of the heavy hitters when it comes to perfumes. I didn’t say anything to him and just applied a different perfume each day to see if he noticed any. It initially is very rosy floral, but after 10 minutes or so it settles to a juicy sweet and exotic vanilla smell on my skin even I can’t stop smelling my wrists and hair it just smells so good.

It’s starts off with a lovely floral hit of rose and dusky orchid, and then as it settles, the powdery vanilla starts to come through, laced with essence of pear. It’s a wonderfully versatile perfume, that is equally as good in the afternoon as it is for the evening and night. It brings feelings of centredness and strength, like pulling all that inner feminine power to be in control of your life. The bottle is also stunning with a pinkish orange colour sunset effect, with the classic dent in the middle for the Idole scent range.I also did a little comparison to other Lancôme scents, Idole Aura - is more of a lighter daytime scent, with rose, jasmine and vanilla, the Now is stronger with more versatile wearing for different times and occasions. LVEB - a sultry, evening and night time scent, with Iris, Pear, Blackberry, Jasmine and Vanilla, Idole Now has a lighter fragrance to this which makes it better at earlier times of day. All these perfumes were beautiful with application and time/occasion differences.Anyone wanting to expand their scent collection could not go wrong adding in Idole Now, would be a wonderful and ideal gift idea for the important women in your life. It is, however, unisex, if you’re a man that likes a floral element to your scents, this would work so well, my husband loves it. I think the only thing that would stop me buying a bottle this size is the price, I would have to go for the 25-30ml ones just so I can get a few in my collection (Idole Nectar is my next one).

It is a really long lasting scent that not only lasts all day on skin but remains on clothing beyond washing. It's a truly beautiful scent which makes a powerful statement wherever I go and whoever I encounter. It is a definite head turner. Without a doubt this is another one of my favourite scents from Lancôme. A soft but captivating lingering scent that is not only a treat and a pleasure to wear, but I feel it portrays my personality very well.I normally find particular scents are suited to particular age ranges and occasions including times of the day. However, this scent is so versatile that it would suit any age range and is suited to any occasion at any time of the day making it a fabulous fragrance to own without any limitations!

This is the first Idole perfume that doesn't work for me

I LOVE the Idole line of perfumes, so I had to get Idole Now after smelling it in store. I have the original, Aura, Nectar and I like them all for their different smells. This smells awful once it dries down, and my entire family agrees. I thought maybe it was just disagreeing with my body chemistry so I have tried spraying it on a tissue after it was bad on my clothes as well (thought maybe was just my chemistry still affecting on my clothes). It smells wonderful in the bottle but once it dries down it smells like cedar and sawdust. It is terrible and actually gives me a headache. Not many smells can actually make me feel sick and nauseated! Don't buy this without spraying it on your wrist and smelling it in half an hour. It changes!

Warmer & deeper version of Idôle

I received a bottle of Idôle Now as a member of My Lancome Community.I am a big fan of the IDÔLE line. I already have the original and the L'Intense version in my collection.The signature DNA of Idôle, the rose, is also present in this flanker.The opening of Idôle Now is bright, sweet and juicy. The note of pear gives it a crisp, fruity, almost aquatic touch while the Turkish rose adds a rich, warm sweetness to the fragrance.Shortly thereafter, it develops into a powdery, slightly musky scent. The orchid accord at the heart creates smooth, warm nuances on my skin.Later on, the vanilla note envelops the composition, rounding it off beautifully. The Bourbon vanilla at the base gives it a rich, creamy, ambery quality. More interestingly, I catch whiffs of the Idôle DNA in the air but with my nose close to the skin, I get a dry, woody vanilla undertone.Idôle Now is a warm, deep, well-blended composition. Maybe not the most unique one but it is a beautiful, classy and sophisticated perfume.Idôle Now lasts for 7-8 hours on my skin (much longer if oversprayed) with outstanding projection and sillage for the first 3 hours.It can be worn all year round. However, in summer it may be a bit too powerful for some people. Personally, I enjoy lighter & fresher fragrances on warm, summer days so I will wear Idôle Now mostly in cool weather.If you're looking for a warmer & deeper version of Idôle and you like sweet, powdery scents, this could be the right choice for you. It is also worth mentioning that this perfume is vegan. I highly recommend you checking it out!
