Great pair of jeans, they are my favorites. They keep their color after multiple washes which is a benefit for me. I wash them cold and let them air dry. Solid pair of jeans, that I can wear daily. Nice fit for someone that’s lengthy and slim like myself. The regular pair were bulky all around for me and these fit perfect.

The quality of the fabric is good. Fit is very large in the waist; I downsized two inches. The fit in the legs is nicely tailored, not in the least baggy. The color selection is terrific. But a glaring problem is the oddly short rise. It's downright uncomfortable. There's the distinct, awkward feeling that the pants are about to constantly slip down because the rise is so short. I have never encountered anything like it - and I know it is not a defect because I tried a second pair. I regard it as a major design flaw. I just cannot imagine how a man can be comfortable with this design. A teenage girl, maybe. If not for the peculiar rise, these jeans would be perfect. Regrettably, they're returned.

I am a tall, slender guy and have a hard time finding jeans that fit well. Have been wearing 501 jeans for a long time. Found some black 511 slim fit stretch jeans at an outlet store that were too short, but otherwise fit well. Bought some black 511 slim fit stretch jeans online and bought them. Have been wearing them for a month now and love them! The waiste fits true to size. Length was a tad bit longer than I expected, but that's a lot better than being too short. After washing them several times, the black color has not faded either.
Recently bought online from J.C. Penny. Hard to find Levi’s black slim fit jeans in my size; not too long, baggy looking men’s jeans here! Look great, fit great, and the bit a stretch fabric in them insures that they’ll still fit very nicely even after I gain a couple of winter-fat pounds by next spring! I’m very happy with this purchase, especially since I could purchase them at a discount!
These used to be good quality. But even good old Levi's brand has finally fallen victim to the classic capitalism model of "race to the bottom". Every pair of the five that I ordered has threads coming undone right out of the package new, even before washing them. What a disappointment but no surprise considering how consumers are getting worse quality of products all around the world each passing day.
Nice Jeans from Levi's for day to day wear. I would warn that if you are used to the the original 501's these are definitely a lot thinner style jean. The stretch fabric in the material allows for some additional give for more of an athletic use and feel. The only issue I had with them is the pair I received was a supposed to be a rinsed blue but when I got them they had a slight green tint to them in the light. After a couple of wears and a wash the tint was less noticeable. Not sure if it was just the pair I received or if this is just something about the finish or the stretch material that caused the tint. The slim fit does feel better than the 513's I used to wear. Overall a nice pair of jeans but you really can't go wrong much with a pair of Levi's.
These jeans are well made but the sizing is way off! My husband's current jeans are 511, size 33, and they are a bit too large so I ordered him a 32. He couldn't even get them on! So I tried them and they fit me perfectly. I think they may be women's? I would keep them for me, except they don't have any stretch so I am returning them. My last 3 on line orders from Macy's have not worked, sizing off or I am sent the wrong item. What has happened yo Macy's?!
I bought these in online to be delivered in store no problem. As ordered to pairs for size reasons and needed to return one pair I thought I could do this in store. But no online purchases have to be posted back. Costing nearly 5£. So not a great returns system.
I bought these slim fit Levis for my husband recently and he absolutely loves them! He says they are incredibly comfortable and appreciates the stretch in the denim. Also you can’t go wrong with a dark rinse. 10 out of 10!
