A modern slim with room to move, the 511 Slim Fit Jeans are a classic since right now. These jeans sit below the waist with a slim fit from hip to ankle. This pair has just the right amount of stretch for all-day comfort. Cut close to the body, the 511 Slim is a great alternative to the skinny jean - you'll get the same lean look with added comfort. The narrow leg also means endless style options. For a laid-back daytime look, try a slightly scrunched leg and sneakers. Once night rolls around, try a 2-inch cuff with a Chelsea boot.

I bought these assuming they’d be super stretchy but these are actually the stiffest pair of jeans I’ve ever bought. I’m working on breaking them in but I don’t see how these are advertised as “stretch” when mine literally have no give to them. Overall they fit nice and look great, they just aren’t stretchy at all, and I normally hate stretchy jeans but these are ridiculous.

Bought Lev'is after long time and the material is not good quality at all. Already had lint all over the jeans which was really difficult to remove, and didn't get removed even after 1st wash. Quality also went down after the wash. Pockets really small and narrow. Really regret getting Lev'is again after not buying them for years.

Recently bought online from J.C. Penny. Hard to find Levi’s black slim fit jeans in my size; not too long, baggy looking men’s jeans here! Look great, fit great, and the bit a stretch fabric in them insures that they’ll still fit very nicely even after I gain a couple of winter-fat pounds by next spring! I’m very happy with this purchase, especially since I could purchase them at a discount!

These used to be good quality. But even good old Levi's brand has finally fallen victim to the classic capitalism model of "race to the bottom". Every pair of the five that I ordered has threads coming undone right out of the package new, even before washing them. What a disappointment but no surprise considering how consumers are getting worse quality of products all around the world each passing day.
I had multiple pairs of 511s over the last decade and the usually last me at least 3 years. When I received these jeans I thought they were counterfeit. The material is so thin and already the denim is pilling after 2 weeks of wear. Not to mention the sizing is way off. What a joke- I won’t be buying Levi’s again
Nice Jeans from Levi's for day to day wear. I would warn that if you are used to the the original 501's these are definitely a lot thinner style jean. The stretch fabric in the material allows for some additional give for more of an athletic use and feel. The only issue I had with them is the pair I received was a supposed to be a rinsed blue but when I got them they had a slight green tint to them in the light. After a couple of wears and a wash the tint was less noticeable. Not sure if it was just the pair I received or if this is just something about the finish or the stretch material that caused the tint. The slim fit does feel better than the 513's I used to wear. Overall a nice pair of jeans but you really can't go wrong much with a pair of Levi's.
Everybody needs a pair of black Levis. The 511 has always been my go to fit (I'm 6.1, 175lbs)I love the stretch as it makes these jeans way more comfortable on a bike or hike. They also keep their shape better (no more baggy knees). It remains to be seen how the stretch material affects durability, but so far I'm in love. The fit is true, maybe a bit small, but with the stretch that's a good thing.
These jeans are well made but the sizing is way off! My husband's current jeans are 511, size 33, and they are a bit too large so I ordered him a 32. He couldn't even get them on! So I tried them and they fit me perfectly. I think they may be women's? I would keep them for me, except they don't have any stretch so I am returning them. My last 3 on line orders from Macy's have not worked, sizing off or I am sent the wrong item. What has happened yo Macy's?!
These are not jeans. Call them cotton trousers, call them chinos... just don't call them jeans. They ain't denim. However, having said all that, they're well-constructed slim trousers with a bit of stretch - and they're made in the style of Levi's 511 jeans. But they're not jeans. Definitely not.
about size issues, before I bought this one, I had 2 other 511s, one is weathered one finish, another one is clean dark finish, compared with them, this one is a little bit larger than wheathered one and almost the same with clean dark. the reasons they have not the same fittings are in part whether it contains spandex and in part how thick their fabrics are. the outfirs are similar with others.this one is quite sticky for dirts, I know it's black one so dirts look more clear on it..but I'm not saying this. compared with other black jeans I had, it especially fix more dirts.nevertheless it has some cons, due to it is 511, it has a nice outfit.if you want unstressful allround black jeans it's not the one you wish.
