I give 4 star because I didn’t know they run smaller. But overall it is an amazing shoe for training and walk all day and very comfortable. Love the shoe and color.

I got recommended to get these by my body building brother. He talked so highly of them. They are stylish, super comfortable, great for working out indoor. I have not tested them for running or outdoor working out. I would definitely recommend going to a shoe store to get your foot size bc i did they came perfect with size 8

Lady came up to me in parking lot and said "I REALLY like your shoes!" I do like these shoes, but attention.....not so much. Buy these shoes if you want to encourage people to talk to you

Out of the box the shoe fit a bit snug, but just a few hours after wearing it began to shape to my foot. I have been wearing these trainers to work as an occupational therapist where I spend 80% of my day on my feet and 4x days at the gym this past week and all I can say is that I am amazed on how my feet feel, I feel grounded and balanced when I walk and during lifting. The soles are soft but not too soft where it becomes an issue and affects your gait, the upper is durable with water resistant outer toe boxes, yet it retains breathability, and the insoles/sole bend and shape to your foot as you walk allowing for a natural comfortable stride. The design is superb as it looks sporty yet sleek and looks good with slacks/jeans or long socks and shorts. I continue to ... I continue to wear these shoes daily for work/gym and have not noticed any serious signs of wear or tear. As to anything I would change about this shoe, I would have to say absolutely nothing. I have already highly recommended these to friends at work and at the gym.
First I want to say I love this shoe and it has become one of my favorites. This shoe fits and feels fantastic, the shoes feels pretty comfortable and very responsive. Overall, I loved everything about this shoe from the materials to the design to the comfortability. I wouldn't change anything about this shoe and will be buying additional colorways.
I wore the Nike Free Metcon 5 for about a week, both around town in everyday wear/working out and running about 15 miles in total over the week. After running in them a bit I can say they provide good support and toe protection, I was able to switch over from my Brooks running shoes with moderate ease. Being training shoes they don't run as well as a traditional running shoe but can still supplement short runs. For working out the thick sole offers great support and a good firm base for whatever I was doing. Im not an avid gym goer and don't classify myself as a weight lifter. But the shoes were a definite step up compared to my normal shoes I wear to the gym.I work out plus/minus 3 days a week and for about 45 min - 1 hours doing weight workouts, HIIT workouts, and cardio exercises. This shoe worked great for all of it.My main comments were oddly going to and from the gym in the shoe and wearing out and about. I have had a variety of shoes over the years, mainly Nike tennis shoes/running shoes and Brooks running shoes. This was the first shoe to have such a thick "platform"/sole and made walking in them initially a little awkward. Lastly, while I do have a bigger foot (typically fit a 11-11.5 but I am always are more comfortable in a 12) there seemed to more than normal cushion on the roof of the shoe in the toe area. I'm sure you would get used to it, but it was not something I've had in a shoe before, its not that they didn't fit, my foot just felt very snug and secure. (something I noticed right away)Overall I think its a great shoe for the Gym, I would not say its a largely versatile shoe. But the Nike Free Metcon 5 worked great for everything I threw at it and it definitely met my expectations.
First impression was that the shoes ran small/tight. The shoes are actually TTS, but the toe cap is pretty tight when wearing with socks, and it applies pressure on the top of the toes. I’m hoping this will loosen over time. The soles have good grip and are flexible. The material is great, and allows the shoe to be well ventilated. Overall, the shoe is stable enough for strength and weight training, and still flexible for activities such as light running.
My husband bought these shoes in 2 colors he lioved them so much. Very comfortable and stylish.
These bridge the gap between a really good CrossFit shoe and a shoe you can run in. Of course you can run in anything but I found regular Metcons painful while running anything over 400m. They are good for Jumping and stable for lifting. These cover all bases. Not the best running shoe, lifting shoe or jumping shoe but overall they can do everything well.
The best workout in these style from HIIT, Circuit, Weight Lifting even for dancing classes! Bring back this red color in W10; it matches my work uniform.
