TLDR; great sweater, decent fit for someone who struggles choosing between XL/XXL, only big downside is the elbows show wear very quickly if you sit at a desk alot, just the nature of the material I think and cant really be helped.I'm a little over 6'2 240 lbs, and I always have trouble finding a fit between XL and XXL. This sweater is no different, but I don't blame Patagonia for it; I just have a weird body size/type. The sleeve length is perfect for me (some might feel its a bit short) and it does ride a bit high on the waist, but I do think thats kind of just the style they're going for. It feels slightly tight around my torso, so I usually wear a thin undershirt underneath. As for the warmth of the sweater, its not designed for winter (or at least real winter ... MoreTLDR; great sweater, decent fit for someone who struggles choosing between XL/XXL, only big downside is the elbows show wear very quickly if you sit at a desk alot, just the nature of the material I think and cant really be helped.I'm a little over 6'2 240 lbs, and I always have trouble finding a fit between XL and XXL. It could be paired with a windbreaker outer shell and get further use of it as the temps drop lower if you wanted though. It's actually really lightweight, and not having a hood makes it work great as 2nd layer. For me the coldest I wear it with nothing else on top is about -3c to -4c depending on the wind. The biggest issue I have with it is how the material on the elbows has gotten squished down and show wear already after only about 2-3 months of wear. It's incredibly comfortable so I always wear it around the house, & I sit at a desk alot with my elbows on the table for my mouse/keyboard, so thats why its happening. As I said earlier I don't know if I would call it a real flaw because its just the nature of the material I think. (Other than this its holding up perfectly of course)I really love the sweater so I'm thinking of looking into adding some type of patch to the elbows to prolong its life, and it could be an idea to pass along to the design team. Maybe including a patch that blends in since they are a bit flashy which some customers might not like. Thanks Patagonia for the great product as always!

I weigh 215lbs and 6’4. The XXL is a nice baggy fit. I got the obsidian plum with dark blue and pale yellow accents. Looks great and is comfortable. Warm but a bit heavier than your average sweatshirt. Was expecting it to be a bit lighter but that’s fine.ConsShedding. It won’t stop shedding and is annoying to the point where I almost want to return it. I’ve washed and tumble dried it for a few hours with no change in shedding. I see it floating around my car.No pockets kinda sucks but that’s not much of a deal breaker I’d say. It’s not very breathable so be aware of that if it’s something you’re looking for.

I already have two Synchilla Snap Ts, one of which is 10 years old and still in perfect condition. My wife has three, including one that is more than 20 years old and still going strong. My three favorite colors are blue, green and yellow; so when I saw the new Vessel Blue colorway, I just could not resist. I have a hunch when my wife sees the joyous new colors for Women, the same thing is going to happen with her. Maybe the trick here is to just PLAN on adding one of these timeless, indestructible badboys every year, and don't feel in the slightest bit guilty. Make the Synchilla Snap T one of YOUR life's greatest pleasures! Words of advice: WASH your new Snap T before you wear it, to get rid of the lint; and never, never, never, never put it in the Dryer!! ... MoreI already have two Synchilla Snap Ts, one of which is 10 years old and still in perfect condition. Lightweight, soft and warm - what more could you ask for? :)I am usually a Medium size in Women's, and opted for a Small size in Men's.Tried both XS and S in Men's, but XS is a bit too tight for me, so I went with the S size instead, and even though it's a rad 'roomy', I am very happy with the purchase. If I were to give a feedback, I'd like Patagonia to be more inclusive when providing colour choices between women's and men's products. Men's products often have 'better' colour combo choices than women's unfortunately. So yes, please provide the same colour options for all genders. :)
Soft, good fit, good pattern, warm. Just what I want with the lightweight Snap-T -- a little breathable and very cozy. The fit is pretty roomy but IMO in a good way. Not really a technical piece, but good for walks, a fire, etc.Only big negative is that after just having it about 2 weeks the seam in one of the sleeves split while putting it on -- looks like maybe it was just glued/fused together? Now there is a big hole ... I'll stitch it up, but kind of annoying for it to split so easily just putting an arm through the sleeve! Never had this happen with any other jacket from Patagonia or otherwise!
As I write this, I am wearing a Lightweight Synchilla Snap T that is almost 15 years old and is still in perfect condition. My wife has one that is more than 20 years old and is still going strong. They are warm, never go out of style and last forever. Some people gripe about the lack of pockets = point taken. The fit is "relaxed", meaning if you want layers underneath, go with your regular size; but if not, you can easily size down. I wear an XL in everything else Patagonia but I have this one and one of the heavier model both in Size L. Lots of people complain about the lint they throw off; so the first thing you should do with a new one is toss it into the washing machine = problem solved. Never, never, NEVER put these in the dryer! Totally unnecessary = they dry ... MoreAs I write this, I am wearing a Lightweight Synchilla Snap T that is almost 15 years old and is still in perfect condition. There's really only one problem with this iconic garment: You'd better choose your color carefully, because like being married you're gonna be enjoying the view for a long, LONG time!
I'm well aware your company (501-C4 actually... and that's awesome!) resists efforts by the consumer at large to offer product suggestions but this one is so trivial. You know that hang loop (mine's green but I guess they come in different colors) that lies flat? You know what I'm talking about, right? Well if you were to sew it so it was always slightly opened (like turning one end of the loop 180 degrees) it might save me and countless others from simply dropping the garment on the floor in hanging frustration. Or...here's another cheaper idea! Maybe offset the affixing of the two ends by 1/2" (their width) so you can get a finger through the hanging loop. I'm quite sure I'm not in your target consumer tranche but I shuck oysters for a living and after a night of ... MoreI'm well aware your company (501-C4 actually... and that's awesome!) resists efforts by the consumer at large to offer product suggestions but this one is so trivial. I purchased this fleece to travel South America as one of my layers and I found myself a little disappointed. I have never owned a Patagonia product before, but was excited by my purchase because I thought I was buying a good quality product that both looked good and functioned well as a warm pullover. Unfortunately I found that it was only stylish for me. After traveling with it for 6 months in may climates I found myself cold whilst others with similar fleeces were warm. I wore this by itself whilst going out at night, I wore it under a shell while hiking, and I wore it as a layer while snowboarding. The whole time I wanted to like it, but I just didn’t perform the way I thought it might. The pullover had some positives, like comfort and it didn’t shrink after ... MoreI purchased this fleece to travel South America as one of my layers and I found myself a little disappointed. I just picked up the High Hopes Geo version, and the colors are as awesome as they look online. I found it at the Grand Opening of a new REI. They literally only had one and it was my size, on my birthday. Yay me. I typically find myself buying size large, but this I got in a medium. This was my first Patagonia purchase, so could be consistent through their products. I tried on a large in a different colorway to make sure I wasn't a large. Typically, mediums don't have long enough sleeves for me, but not the case here. I'm 6'!"slim and leggy, long arms. Anyway, very lightweight and very comfortable. No hand pockets but not a biggie. Makes it less bulky. The chest pocket is decent size. Big enough for a cellphone, though I don't use it for that.
I bought this fleece for work primarily, I'm outdoors a good bit and we just moved to a much colder state. I wanted something to fit over a button down and undershirt. I have a re-tool in size L from 2020 or so that I love, but it only fits over a t-shirt. This fleece is cut much baggier, and I got it in an XL. I'm 6'1 175 and it fits over 2 thin layers. It works great, it's plenty warm on mornings down to about 20 degrees and doesn't get sweaty until around 60-65 degrees. It doesn't work as well for fly-fishing, the baggy cut is cumbersome with waders. I'll stick with the old micro-d and softshell for that.It DOES shed like crazy right out of the box and after a few washes, but the solution I've found is to wash it, rinse it, DON'T spin it (you want it soaking ... MoreI bought this fleece for work primarily, I'm outdoors a good bit and we just moved to a much colder state. That shook out the majority of the loose fibers for me.
