I've been wearing Timberland boots for a long time and it is reassuring and refreshing that while others have cut quality these boots are still very well made without the price increasing too much. Like previous pairs, I expect I'll wear these for 10 years or so before they need to be retired - that's with walking to work every day. Considering how much mileage you get, they are a good investment. They are roomy inside - a bit big but not enough to change the size from my usual. Once they're broken in they will fit well.

Only worn for a few weeks so far but impressed with the warmth, comfort and surface's resistance to salt. Good grip for icy city streets too.Would be better if the soles were recraftable but that's hard to find at this price point, particularly combined with a bit of insulation. My other small note is the laces supplied are a few inches too short to properly use all the eyelets.

I purchased the shoes for my son since this brand is all he ever wears. This specific shoes is used as a casual dress shoes and he wears them proudly. The conform and longevity of the shoes is what draws him back. That and the style. He currently owns several pairs including the hiking boots. He will forever be a Tims fan for years to come.

I purchased these at HypeDC in two sizes, a 10 and 11. Both fit well. The 10 was perfect, but had a defect biting into my ankle. So i kept the 11, and managed with an insole and am very happy with the style and overall fit. The leather is not hard. It actually moulds really nicely around my foot, and the shoes are comfortable on the get go. They are slightly heavy though, so initially it feels like you're lugging them around, but the feeling goes away after a while. These all blacks look absolutely amazing. Too bad Timerbland Australia don't sell these in half sizes!
Nice boot! Looks good. Feels good according to my husband. Looking forward to trying these out in the snow later this year. Rhythm Snowsports was fantastic to deal with. Their website was easy to navigate, had a great range and their postage was incredibly fast. We will be dropping into their Cooma store on our way to Theedbo later this year for the rest of our snowsport needs.
Bought a less expensive pair of boots for the cold weather in Newark, after one day, when the sole fell off, I figured I should look into maybe getting a more reliable brand. I went to Macy’s in Jersey City and found these Timberlands in black. I immediately fell in love with them! Most boots are usually a little loose. These fit perfectly, not to snug. I tried them on with a standard pair of socks and was amazed at how comfortable they were. I was also able to wear them with a thick winter sock and they still felt amazing. Wore them immediately, lots of walking and still NO blisters or sore feet. They were a little more than I expected to spend but they are totally worth the price! i highly recommend picking yourself up a pair.
If you hike, don’t expect this to be your go-to boot. They run very narrow and stiff so prepare to have them stretched or suffer it out. I’m an 8.5-9 and tried both. The 8.5 fit, but my toes touched the end. They are really tight right where the laces end and the gusseted tongue can be irritating. So I tried the 9 with thick socks… Better, but I had to order twice because one pair had a lot of visible flashing on the faux sole stitching at the tip of the toe.For the money, this boot is lacking in the quality of the insoles (not supportive or cushioned) as well as general build. But, you do get thick, waterproof leather and extra laces. All that said, the color is great (fuchsia) and I’ll keep them for non-hiking purposes. Recommend spraying silicone on them maybe to preserve the color as the pink looks like it will fade or rub off over time. I’d give them a 3.5 if avail.Hope this helps.
I normally wear a US size 11 in shoes (occasionally 10.5 depending on the shoe). I bought the 6 inch Premium Timberland Boots in store and I tried on both a size 11 and a size 10.5 When I put on my normal size (11), it felt completely comfortable but when I walked I could tell it was too loose. I tried on the 10.5 and it felt better. It was still comfortable but it felt like I could walk better in it without it feeling like it would fall off my feet.I've now had mine for 5 months. I think the 10.5 is good enough for me, but if I recommend one thing to all potential buyers, it's: go down a full size, or at least a half size. Many people like to wear their Timbs loose and not tied tightly. With my 10.5, I have to actually tie the shoes (loopty-loop then pull and all) in order for the boots to feel snug to my feet. Although walking in them without the shoes tied does not have a significant risk of the boots falling off your feet, it still feels very loose. So in the future, I will purchase a full size down in Timberlands (meaning I will buy a size 10 in Timbs). If no full size down is available, then I'll go for a half size down since it is still satisfactory. I do not recommend buying your normal shoe size as it will feel comfortable when standing/sitting still, but when you walk, the boot will be very loose.I also recommend spraying your boots with Timberland's balm protector & water proofer to help extend the life of your boots to protect them from snow and water. If any salt gets on your boots, make sure you clean them so the salt doesn't sit in the boot for too long and end up damaging the material.----------------------TL;DR: Go for a full size down from your normal shoe size. If a full size down is not available, then go at least for a half size down. I wear a US size 11 in sneakers, and I bought a 10.5 in Timbs; however, a 10 in Timbs would likely be even better. Additionally, take care of your boots by cleaning them and spraying them with waterproofer.
